Cavendish Lodge & Cottages

Everything was clean and new. The owner thought of everything and then some when it came to stocking the place with towels, dishes, soap, and all kind of other things. The rooms were comfortable (beds were excellent). We didn’t spend much time in the living room or using the TV but there was a sitting area and a smart TV. We did visit the pool and the hot tub. Both were clean and well kept. The property had a play set and the owner, seeing that I had my children with me on the trip, put us right near the play set. It was nice to be able to watch them play from the front porch. Location wise you can’t get better. You can walk to almost everywhere in the Cavendish area. We were right next to a haunted house and mini golf. The Boardwalk was with walking distance. The amusement park was also within walking distance. Overall I can’t recommend this place enough! We had a great time thanks to not having to worry about where we were staying.

Beautiful location, pool centrally located

Wifi wasn’t great but not a big deal

Room: I liked the room was on the first floor with a balcony (porch/deck). It was like a mini apartment and just as big as a hotel room. It had a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and other stuff. The bathroom was spacious unlike hotels. It was a cozy room. Location: It was in a very convenient location. About 15 mins from North Rustico, closer for L.M. Montgomery sites in Cavendish, and about 15 minutes west to other sights. I was able to view so much from this location. Owner: Yolanda checked me in. She was so nice. When she found out it was my first visit to the island, she gave me some post cards and a pen. They were very beautiful. Additionally, when she found out I booked to tour the island instead of the music festival, she provided me with a sound machine to help block out any noises. When I got to the room, she had noise canceling earbuds already on the nightstand. The room seem to insulated well enough because my neighbors were playing music and I could on here the bass vibrations not the words of cords. I did have to use both earbuds and machine to block out the bass sounds, but I slept very peacefully thanks to Yolanda.

The internet lagged. I'm not sure aboit PEI internet, but I thought it might have lagged due to all the people near by; however, I was still able to stream a movie. I just couldn't stream on tv and play on phone at the same time.

We loved our stay for many reasons. A very clean place , Housekeeping was great and accommodating having firewood already there was nice, free laundry on site was perfect,we would definitely come back, nice and quiet.

With a party of 5 adults we could have used another comfortable sitting chair in the living room area for watching t v ,also we could have used a bowl for mixing salad in. Having our grown children with us the pool being open a little later would have been nice .
