Avonlea Forest Hill Cottages

As true Anne Shirley fans, we couldn't have chosen a more wonderful and charming place than this home. It felt like stepping straight into Green Gables, making our stay an absolute dream.

Good location.

Constructive Feedback - The upstairs toilet tank was very slow to refill delaying a second or subsequent flush.

It was quiet and they let us in 2 hours early then the 4:00 check in. Small bathroom but has everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked fridge/freezer, Stove, microwave and coffee maker, not Keurig. Perfect Location and Close to shopping , eating, beaches etc.

We stayed in the cozy carriage 1 bedroom cottage. It’s not a 1 bedroom it’s a studio cottage. I was expecting the bed to be in a room by itself. The bed was as hard as a rock and I probably woke up 30 times to change positions because I was so sore and when I pulled the comforter up all I could smell was BO like someone put it under their armpit that hadn’t been washed. And the comforter never got washed or exchanged. The second night I actually slept on the couch (didn’t open it) it was so much more comfortable but wasn’t really long enough for me to stretch out. Something that didn’t bother us but may once it gets really busy is that the laundry is attached to this cottage so I’m assuming it’s going to get very noisy inside with the washer and dryer going.
