About this house rental
Vacation rental with all amenities within walking distance (doctor’s office, bakery, Super U, playgrounds for children and adults, etc.)
This very bright and functional 108 m² home consists of:
On the first floor:
- A large living room with a fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, fridge-freezer, Krups pod coffee maker, toaster)
- A master bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom (shower and sink)
- A separate toilet - A laundry room with a washing machine
Upstairs:
- Two bedrooms with two double beds and two closets
- A bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and changing table - A separate toilet
All of this is set on a fenced-in 400 m² lot with a patio equipped with a table, a grill, a patio umbrella, and private parking
Option:
Linens and cleaning fees are not included.
I offer a linens rental package that includes a fitted sheet, a duvet cover, 2 pillowcases, 1 large and 1 small towel per person: €20 per bed, and I’ll also include 3 dish towels
A cleaning package is available at the end of your stay for €80. This does not include washing dishes, which must be done by the guests, or taking out the trash
All payments are to be made to the owner on the day of
In addition, a €300 cash security deposit will be required on the day of arrival upon the property inspection; this will be returned on the day of departure upon receipt of the keys
Ideal location for exploring the region:
- 5 min from the Festyland amusement park and a water park
- 10 min from Caen Castle and its Memorial
- 15 min from the D-Day landing beaches (20 min from Arromanches and its museums)
- 15 minutes from Bayeux (its cathedral, the Bayeux Tapestry, and its history)
- 40 minutes from the Souleuvre Bridge for a thrilling bungee jump, tobogganing, and more…

We stayed as a family of 4, with two teenagers. Plenty of space for all of us. Children had their own room each and upstairs bathroom. Excellent location for Caen and Bayeux. Clean house with plenty of utensils. Although due to the weather we didn’t sit outside, the garden is very well kept and large. It would be ideal to use in warmer weather.
We took our own bedding and towels as these were an extra cost, but this didn’t bother us. We would highly recommend the house and would visit again in the future

We hadn't been to Normandie for some twenty or so years so to find this little gem to stay in was a real bonus. It is well positioned for all the sightseeing hot spots and is a true "home from home", with all mod cons and in a clean and welcoming state. We were particularly taken with the automatic lawn mower. Merci.
