Glasfryn Cottage is a really cosy and comfortable home from home, very well located both for the town and for going out on day trips and hikes. The beds were very comfortable, it was a lovely touch to find a lovely gift on the table of Welsh treats, lemonade and some milk, Thank you. We had a delightful stay and much needed rest in between our Mountain hikes. The owner also supplied details of all the local places to visit, everything was well thought out to make one’s stay a pleasure.

Great location & view from front. Good strong shower. Very comfy bed.
Strong smell of damp when entering the property. Some damp patches noted. Grubby kitchen cupboards. Rusty microwave. Dirty mugs in the kitchen that had to be washed before use. Flys on windowsills. Stains on pillowcases. Upstairs sink & shower very slow to drain. Radio didn’t work. Booking.com stated arrival time from 3. When contacting the owner, was told that should be amended to 4pm & refused earlier entry.

The cottage was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, spacious and in a great location. The host provided clear instructions and loads of good recommendations. We were welcomed with a gift of Welsh cakes bara brith and lemonade.

It was clean inside and comfortable. It had everything necessary for self catering. It was near to the town centre.
The lack of garden. The backyard was very uninviting- especially as the neighbours dog used it as a toilet and the neighbours had mattresses leaning up against it. If the weather had been good I would have had to look for somewhere else to sit outside. The lack of parking was a minor inconvenience when unloading and loading the car in the rain.
The bin lorries woke me early on both Thursday and Friday morning.
