Very quiet and very convenient for shops, pubs, restaurants etc

The car had to be parked at some distance from the property.

Characterful, cosy, well equipped, tasteful decorated/furnished, good bed linen/towels, quality bathroom products and a well stocked wood burning stove.

Nothing! This is our second visit, with more to come.

The cottage was a superb location, with local amenities and a lovely pub nearby, as well as being in a prime spot for being able to explore mid-wales by car for the week. It was a perfect size for 2 people, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The little bottle of milk and Welshcakes ready for us when we arrived was a very welcome treat after a long drive, it was very thoughtful. The cottage itself is well maintained and well equipped, we weren't lacking anything for our week's stay. We met Carol briefly who was absolutely lovely and she recommended a local walk which we had our eye on - thank you Carol, the precipice walk was absolutely gorgeous.

We had only a couple of things to mention which are really quite surface-level and should not impact future visitors at all! We would recommend this place in a heartbeat. The first small issue is the bed is definitely on the firm side, this is of course a totally personal preference so would probably be perfect for some people and not right for others, we were in the latter group. We did sleep well, it just meant the holiday lie-ins were cut short - perhaps that was for the best as it meant we would get up and out to enjoy the day! The second small comment it that is was a slight shame to have the Smart TV with the streaming options upstairs in the bedroom and the regular channel TV downstairs, we would've liked to be able to binge Netflix (or enjoy the many other options instead of the quite limited freeview programmes) in the evenings on the sofa after a days hiking. But like I said, this is such a surface level comment and should not stop anyone from staying in this lovely place.
