Our 3rd stay stay at this lovely, cozy, traditional cottage in the heart of the town, convenient for all local amenities and discovering the area. Our stay was much the same as previously. Overall the cottage was exceptionally clean and tidy, tastefully decorated and well equipped, with nice views from a couple of windows. The owner was helpful and communicative and provided very nice "welcome gifts" for our arrival. Parking is generally available directly outside or without instance further up the road. Overall a great place for a stay of a few days.
It would much benefit from a washing machine rather than a dishwasher (especially for more than a few days stay) and the central heating adjustment is difficult to implement (we never managed it, at least when we needed it in winter). The fan in the bathroom needs some attention, it works reasonably well, but is inordinately noisy, so much so we avoided using the main light and opened the window whenever possible to avoid it coming on. Finally on the key arrangements, contact the owners directly (they are very congenial) in order to get the current lock box code, since this is not sent in any communications from Booking.com (don't get confused by any codes sent by them or the managing agent, go to the source).

Great location with parking close by. Facilities in cottage were good and loved the log burner with all the wood supplied ! Welcome basket a nice touch
There was evidence of slugs in the dog food bowl and flies in the bathroom. Didn’t spoil our stay though !

A lovely cozy traditional cottage in the heart of the town, convenient for all local amenities and discovering the area. Overall the cottage was exceptionally clean and tidy, tastefully decorated and well equipped, with some nice views from a couple of windows. Prior to our stay the owner was helpful and communicative and further provided some very nice "welcome gifts" for when we arrived. Parking was always possible, either in the spaces opposite or a short distance up the road. Overall a fantastic stay.
It would have been preferable to have a washing machine rather than a dishwasher and the central heating programme was mildly inconvenient given our stay was in the winter (as we often remained in the cottage during the day).
