Lovely house in a great area.

The house is lovely, spacious, very well equipped and clean. It has clearly been newly refurbished with modern equipment, flooring, lovely internal doors, bathrooms and kitchens. Good views from outdoor areas. The area is wonderful for walking as the scenery is spectacular.

Nothing major but - the information supplied in the property had not been updated with the instructions on some things being inadequate or pertaining to equipment that had been replaced or was simply not there. Beds were not that comfortable. Windows and external doors are not up to the standard of the internals. Not a criticism or a problem to us but be aware that the house is on a steep hill and the drive is quite tight- best leave the Bentley at home.

We had a week's stay at the house and we all had a lovely time. We were a party of five and the property was great as it had lots of space so we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The house was clean and had all the amenities you would need and more. You could walk into Dolgellau in 10 minutes. All in all excellent accommodation.

Excellent

Lechwedd is a very nice, comfortable, warm, well situated and appointed house. It was a pleasure to stay in and the host was very helpful. It is a ten minute walk from the interesting town of Dolgellau, which has a number of useful shops and good places to eat. It its a perfect base to explore and enjoy a lovely area: Cader Idris immediately to the south, Barmouth 9 miles away to the east and Snowdon 24 miles to the north. There are many interesting and beautiful walks very close. We really enjoyed our time there.

Superb

Location was excellent. Local restaurants all within walking distance. Shops were the same.

Only slight problem. The bath could have done with a anti slip mat. Apart from that entire property was excellent.
