L'ANGE GARDIEN III AP4293 By Riviera Holiday Homes

It was a slight pain having to stop in Villefranche-sur-mer centre to pick up the keys from the office, but we were met with a very friendly woman who gave us the keys and some advice on getting to the apartment with our heavy suitcase. The apartment was great. We were worried after seeing other reviews recently but the apartment was as clean as we'd have hoped for the value, and had all of the kitchenware, facilities and space we'd hoped for. The pool was great. Out of season there is no fee to use it, and we did so plenty. The shops in Beaulieu-sur-mer were the closest, and took a bit of time to get too, but in general was not too bad, and good value. This apartment is brilliant value for money in this region. We highly recommend for beach location and pool access, and the apartment was everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Ultimately having to go into Villefranche was a pain. If you can avoid this please do, especially with heavy bags. I understand you require keys to access the building altogether, but in the heat it added plenty of time with our extra bags. If you're in a group maybe just send one person to collect.

Excellent location. Powerful shower

We have stayed in other apartments inL’Ange Gardien so expected a similar level of facilities. Area in front of patio was overgrown with weeds but sorted on 2nd day of stay. Kitchen facilities requires some review and maintenance. Bedroom space was limited and soft memory foam mattress topper. Some attention to cleaning required. Unfortunately we had an infestation of ants which we dealt with.

La résidence est proche de la mer et très bien placée. La personne de l’agence est extrêmement sympathique.

Il a fallu récupérer les clés dans un restaurant qui n’était pas proche de la résidence. Ce qui n’était pas très pratique. Personnel du restaurant pas aimable du tout. On avait vraiment l’impression de les déranger. La vue sur la mer est très éloignée et très petite. Les équipements de l’appartement ne sont pas suffisants par rapport aux appartement de la même résidence gérés par Pierre et Vacances.

Villefranche & Nice, as I'm sure you know, are lovely places and near to other lovely places. The apt was very clean, Sandrine was lovely, easy access, balcony was nice, facing the sun tho couldn't see the Med, bed was comfy, tho' might be too soft for some, bottle of wine to greet, very quiet, nice vibe. Brilliant rain shower. Free secure parking a big plus. 3 seater sofa was nice for lying down reading.

I hadn't noticed in the description that, in our room anyway, 410, there's no TV! or oven, which for an apt was surprising. Tiny bedroom, just big enough for a double bed. Bathroom was smallish too but figured out well and the shower was great.
