Four Pompei

Absolutely perfect for a 2 night stay, a few minutes walk from the entrance for pompei forum.

Nothing. But note being, there is no lift.

We had a really friendly welcome from Giuseppe and our room was small (as we expected - we chose the smallest one for cost saving) but really nicely decorated and the bed super comfy and was very clean with complimentary toiletries and water. It was more than adequate for me and my adult daughter. It was also a nice touch to get a kettle (as Scots, we always like a kettle in the room). We liked the location - a short walk to Pompeii (our reason for visiting) and the train station to Naples and Sorrento etc but also had some lovely cafes and eateries really close. We absolutely loved our breakfast (included in the cost we paid) to a local Cafe that offered delicious pastry and coffee and opened at 6am was perfect for our early departure and also allowed us to eat before we trekked off the day. One other great thing was Giuseppe was really quick to respond to us via whats app about questions in advance of our trip.

Perfect location for Pompeii Park. Easy access to bus/train. Great café and restaurants and e ven a grocery store nearby. Easy stay with good communication.

The location is extremely convenient as it is situated directly opposite the entrance to Pompei, eliminating the need for a car. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and the bathroom is spacious and modern. We particularly appreciated the large shower and the amenities provided in our room. While it's true that the room was on the smaller side, it was not a concern for us.

The beds are quite firm, which made them a bit uncomfortable for us. Additionally, as other guests have mentioned, room number 1 only has one window facing the internal courtyard. Consequently, if you leave the window open, you'll hear all the noise from the restaurant below the accommodation and may be disturbed by the light that remains on all night. On the other hand, if you keep it closed, it can feel quite suffocating. One unpleasant issue we encountered was with the breakfast. The host provides coupons to use at the bar opposite the accommodation. However, despite him stating that you could choose one food item and one drink, the bar staff may ask you to pay the difference if what you select exceeds 4 euros per person, essentially limiting options to the typical sweet Italian breakfast. For those arriving by car, it's worth noting that there there is an additional expense for parking. However, this is not the fault of the host.
