Beautiful place and the room was perfect. Really nice to have the garden and pool outside. Olivia was so wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - one of us is vegan, we advised ahead and were very well catered for.

The property was in a perfect location and with parking. The rooms were fresh and clean. Olivia and Sara were lovely and did everything with a smile.

We like everything about this villa. Rooms, staff and common areas where spectacular and very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious and had many options, with an exceptional service from the manager.

Communication is not 24 hours.

Room was a bit smaller than expected for a superior double room, would have been nice to have some storage space. Hotel is next to a betting shop which is quite loud and there are apartments around which overlook into the garden and pool so it doesn't feel very private.

Fresh, clean, contemporary decor in a great location. This property is just outside the walls of Lucca with convenient free private parking. All details seem to have been considered: the offered prosecco on arrival with ice available in the lobby, a yoga mat if you fancy a stretch, crisp linen, quality towels, comfortable bed, easy self check in and a great variety of breakfast options.

The betting shop next door is slightly off putting, but turned out to be really quiet and irrelevant.

A real marvelous experience with all the fine details added to all the facilities in the room and all over the grounds. A very smooth on line check in . Thank you. PS Some kind of elevator a list for the luggage will be an added plus.

The secure parking arrangements were superb.

There were no cups in the room for coffees, only one glass in the bathroom so no possibility for a couple to have a drink before going out to dinner.

Breakfast was absolutely fine for me. Products very good. Less choice than some hotels, but compensated for by quality. We've been to Lucca many times, but this was the first time outside the walls. Not a problem as it's so close. We walk a lot so it was fine.

Not a lot really

The Villa Fedora Luxury has been beautifully designed. The interiors and the exterior are very stylish. It is a calm place and beautiful to look at. Even the coffee table books are high end design catalogues, from fashion and fragrance houses. There are many lovely design features, lighting etc. We have been to Lucca many times so I can tell you with confidence that the location of the Villa is excellent. If you want to stay inside the walls then do that. If you don't mind, or you prefer being just outside the walls then I can assure you that the Fedora is situated a very short and pleasant walk to the Porta Elisa, which is a lovely route to enter the walled town. Just inside you will see a beautiful, shady cloistered walkway, a lovely water fountain, still in use, and you will continue via a very old square called the Piazza Santa Maria Foris Portam to the Via Santa Croce which is one of the main thoroughfares in the town. At the Villa there is a pub to one side and a Bookies to the other but we weren't aware of them at all when we were at the house. It is quiet. The staff, Sara and her team, are at the Villa in the morning for breakfast till late afternoon. There are no staff in the evenings or at night. Access is easy and secure. The hard working staff are truly delightful. They will do anything to make your stay pleasant, from making sure that you have all that you need, booking airport transfers, and even helping to get tomato and oil out of my white trousers! We were there for a week and were leaving early. Sara provided a lovely early breakfast trolley for us to have on the day of departure. Our bed in Room 4 was exceptionally comfortable, in fact I meant to check what type of mattress it was, it was that good. The air conditioning was great, and quiet! The bathroom was spacious, modern, and very clean. There was very good storage and plenty of shelf space in the bathroom. Breakfast has healthy options, which is nice.

If the Villa Owners/ Management are really interested in honest feedback I would tell them that my only issue was storage in the bedroom. The floating wardrobes may be stylish, but they are not deep enough even to hang a shirt or top. There wasn't a lot of shelf space, and there are no drawers at all in the room. There are a couple of hanging hooks on the wall for single items, but we didn't want to overload them. There are open nooks in the bedside cabinets, but no drawer or cupboard. If your stay was for a few days or you are backpacking I'm sure it would be fine, but as I said we were there for a week. I like a tidy room, but that was difficult as we had to put things anywhere we could. There is a safe though, which is great.

Spacious appartement and well working AC. Bed was comfortable and the garden including pool just lovely. Sara, the host speaks very good English and is always supportive on everything. Cleanest hotel I've ever been so far. City is close and most restaurants located just 20 mns by foot.

Breakfast could have more variety however, big selection of gluten free products.

Everything! The villa was in a great location, literally a few mins walk into Lucca itself. Great spacious room, spotlessly clean with everything you could need and more. The breakfast was perfect, loads of choice freshly prepared for you. Pool area and gardens were lovely also, plenty beds and places to sit and relax

Lovely, clean and very stylish room, with bathrobes and slippers as well as pool towels and more. Comfortable bed. Sarah and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and also left us a free bottle of Prosecco and Water in the room at arrival. We didn’t use it as we wanted to visit Lucca but there is a lovely little pool with deck chairs in the backyard. There is also enclosed outdoor Parking at the back. The Villa is located just outside the city walls. Lots of choice for breakfast.

Ahhh we’ve just finished a perfect stay at Villa Fedora! It was exactly what we wanted, and more. Sara and her team were so welcoming and set the tone perfectly when we arrived to a chilled bottle of Prosecco in our room! The room was very clean, tidy, modern and had everything we needed (apart from an iron which was provided for us with no trouble). The beds were comfy with a choice of two pillows. Breakfast was just absolutely delicious. High quality produce and such care taken over everything. Lots of choice (no cooked breakfast, just eggs (best eggs ever) and toast on the hot front but that was perfect for us!). The pool was beautiful. Small and quiet but modern, clean and idyllic also. The perfect setting for a city escape! We’ve absolutely loved our stay and would truly recommend this B&B for any visitors to the area. It’s situated just outside of the wall but everything is walkable from here and the train station is just 12min walk away. Parking is also available with an allocated space for you. Easy check in too, all by key codes so you can arrive at your leisure. Sara was also able to give us lots of local recommendations which we sampled and all of them were great! Thank you for a brilliant long weekend, we hope to come back another time!

I don’t really think there was anything…! The air con made a slightly funny noise at night time but it didn’t bother us so we didn’t raise this with the team. Really can’t fault it.

Stylish modern hotel, where you can see the love with which everything was chosen. Very high end quality and nice pool area. Sarà and her team are doing a great job from breakfast to house keeping. The online check in and the code worked very well. The location is perfect to explore Lucca by foot and Tuscany by car.
