A fifteen-minute stroll will take you into the small country village of Vico d’Elsa, where you’ll find a fabulous pizzeria and a restaurant, as well as somewhere to stock up on groceries – ideal if you’re planning to cook on the barbecue. San Gimignano and its iconic towers are a twenty-two-minute drive. It’s a wonderful day trip – spend your time meandering around the narrow cobbled streets, stopping to enjoy coffee and gelato in a piazza, and soaking up the atmosphere of this historic town. Whether you spend your visit traversing the towns of Tuscany or prefer to stay close to home, you’ll be happy to have chosen this lovely spot. Sip lemonade by the pool as you recline in the sunshine and take in the view. Dine on the covered terrace, and admire the brightly coloured flowers dotted around the property.
