Summary:
The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to our 4-bedroom and 4-bathroom, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those traveling with children or business groups. The Eixample neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Paseo de Gracia street, and 10 min away from Plaza Catalunya, the city centre of Barcelona.
The Space:
Welcome to this 150 m2 spacious and bright flat located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. This four-bedrooms apartment that’s spacious, bright and has a nice organization of the rooms can be divided into two units, enjoying from privacy on each of both apartments (please note those are rented together and there is no option to rent them separately).
We are managers of other apartments in the building, really convenient for big families or business trips. Please note all apartments are almost identical, on layout, equipment and characteristics, but there might be some small changes on decoration.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 7 people distributed in 4 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: Double bed
- Bedroom 2: Double bed
- Bedroom 3: Double bed
- Bedroom 4: 2 Individual beds
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:
- Spacious living room with an open layout to the kitchen
- Interior gallery + sunny balconies overlooking Eixample!
- 4 Full bathrooms
- TV and Wi-fi
- Elevator in building
- Baby crib and high chair available under request and availability, kindly send us a message in order to confirm please
- Bed linens (and comforters during winter season) and bath towels (one shower towel per guest) will be provided!
- The apartment will be professionally cleaned before your arrival

Guest Access:
- The apartment is all for you, 100% privacy!
- After your reservation is confirmed, you will be requested to self-register via Chekin platform, where you will need to register all guests and pay the mandatory tourist taxes.
- Virtual keys will be provided on your same check-in day.

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2, 3 & 4).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

The apartment was clean and well appointed, in the center of the L'Eixample neighborhood. The host was very responsive and easily accommodated our early arrival.

This space is located in a great neighborhood and is perfect for a group or family. The space is a little less updated than the photos and could use some attention to some updates/repairs however that is made up for in the configuration of the apartment and the location. Plenty of great restaurants bars and parks near by. Very secure and the elevator was a plus.
Two bathrooms did have a sewer odor from the shower, but keeping the door closed made it manageable. Having two washers and drying racks was a plus for our group of 7.
Toiletries, towels and cleaning products were supplied.

We were pleased to find a 4 bedroom and 4 bath apartment for 7 people, but once we checked in, we found one bathroom shower couldn’t be used because the shower door was off the hinges. I reported it and she said she would have her maintenance look at it after we leave.
The shower in the master suite smelled like mold! A very strong smell. The showers need a deep cleaning to remove mold.
Check in was seem-less. I really like the electronic key system. We had a hard time locating the apartment. We didn’t know it was on the 3 rd floor.
In my opinion, bidet towels should also be provided for each person. We found 2 bath towels and one other towel in each bathroom.
There is a nice cafe a few doors down from the apartment.
