The Tack Room

The property was close to the Forest of Dean so we were able to get around quite easily. The outlook at the back of the property was lovely. As the weather was nice we were able to sit on the balcony and have our breakfast whilst admiring the view. We even saw and heard the steam train going past at the bottom of the valley.

The only downside was the noise from the road but we knew about this before we came.

Spacious accommodation with wonderful views and gardens. The furniture and equipment was all lovely. Plenty of parking outside the front door. Tesco a short walk away. All level floors and no steps.

Die Ferienwohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Blick über das Tal ist beeindruckend, besonders schön, wenn die Kühe direkt am Zaun stehen. Das WLAN funktioniert tadellos.

Everything was as expected. We had originally booked for just ourselves but a couple of friends stayed in the second bedroom for part of our stay and they were also made welcome. Our hostess, Elaine brought us a spare key and made excellent suggestions for local restaurants. The location was great, the property spacious and had everything we needed. Communication without hosts was excellent at all times so many thanks Elaine.
