Lovely period apartment in great location with wonderful views. Had everything needed. Updated kitchen. Parking space very convenient. Use of gardens was lovely. Loved the quirky ornaments and bits around.
There were a few cobwebs about and main bed a bit soft for own liking.

The Carriage is a superb apartment, large and well equiped. The views across the valley are wonderful. Parking is on-site. It is a good base for exploring the Forest of Dean and the surrounding area.
Lydney itself is a big disappointment. It has a run down look and it has nowhere good to eat; you need to go to The Crown in nearby Aylburton for a good meal.
