Lovely location, host was friendly and easy to contact, beds were comfy.

The television wasn't usable in the living room in the evening due to a bad signal, and too many users already on Netflix..

The apartment was beautiful. Lisa was really welcoming even before we arrived, answering any questions I had about the apartment/location etc. Definitely would recommend to others!

Apartment is exactly what you see in pictures, bed is very comfy. Kitchen facilities include everything needed. Host was friendly and very helpful.

Crack in bath so was unable to use at the time.

The rooms were light & the heating was on constant so we stayed warm.

My advice is read the message from the host!!! The postcode leads you in to the next estate so if you’ve not read the email then you might take a bit longer to find it.

It was very cold, hardly any furniture to store clothes etc and nowhere to sit and eat. Bathroom not suitable for elderly or disability and garden an unsafe tip with strewed toys and broken paving -not good for someone with arthritis to get around which I had mentioned to Lisa. Very overpriced for the facilities.

Location

Booked to stay as attending a family event in the town. Requested to arrive earlier than the usual 3pm check-in and was told this was okay so long as there was nobody staying previous night which was fair enough. Ended up arriving at approximately 2.15pm and, as we had received no communication otherwise, assumed this was still okay. Firstly, it was impossible to park at the property (not clear on listing) and apartment was extremely difficult to access safely due to blocked driveway, not even enough room to get suitcase through. The apartment itself was dirty, hairs in unmade beds, dirty towels on floor and there was a large hole in bath, rendering it useless. Aware that we had arrived slightly earlier than the usual check-in time we attempted to get in touch with the owners to ask what the situation was and whether we should wait but sadly they were uncontactable. After hanging around a while it became clear that there was no way the apartment, or access to the accommodation, could be brought to satisfactory standard in less than 40 minutes. After taking all reasonable steps to resolve situation on arrival but not being able to contact anyone, we felt we had no alternative but to book into a nearby hotel, therefore paying twice for our accommodation! The owner later apologised and offered a full refund but then reneged on this and offered just half. And surprise, surprise, to date we have received zero compensation so we are now having to waste time gathering evidence for action to recover funds lost! WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!

The design and comfort of the apartment

It wasn't super clean, I found a used condom inside of a decorative book and the beddings were poor quality...the bath tub was damaged but working. Apart from this, it's a great location and good value for money

Ignore the negative reviews, for the money the place is lovely. I don’t know what some people expect, if you want the ritz, pay ritz prices?

Nice and close to town. Bed comfortable.

Tv in bedroom didn't work, could not get any channels on it. TV in lounge wasn't great either, kept losing signal. Heating took quite a while to kick in, radiators just didn't appear to get hot, would not want to stay in the real cold months, due to single glazing and poor heating system, maybe the radiators need bleeding? Shower valve had broken so you could not control the water coming out of the hand head or ceiling head. There was a hole in the bath too, so didn't want to chance using it. A shame we couldn't park on the large driveway but instead had to carry all out things along the road and round the corner where we had to park.

Location suited our needs

The access to the property, particularly for the elderly is unacceptable and dangerous. The back garden was overgrown and the patio slabs dirty and uneven One kitchen cupboard was full of rubbish, the kitchen needed an overhaul. The bedding was poor quality and needed ironing. The rest of the apartment is of a high standard shame about these areas

Decent location. Large size rooms. Friendly hosts.

No thermostat. Heating was on a timer although I'm not sure I noticed it turn on. Family and I, unfortunately, were cold most of the day despite layering up. No hand soap. No shampoo/shower gels. Would be nice to have some small milk tubs in the fridge for tea/coffee and also clean mugs.

Beautiful apartment. Lovely bathroom.

The property is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Lisa was a fantastic host and communication before the trip was excellent. Maybe should be advertised as sleeps 3, rather than 4.
