Belges is located in Lyon, just a 17-minute walk from Lyon Part Dieu Train Station and 1.2 miles from the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon.

A very pleasant stay.
The apartment was comfortable, if somewhat noisy. We couldn't have windows open at night due to the very loud traffic sounds and hence rather sweltered since the weather was very warm.
The noise - including the fact that most doors need some oil on their hinges!

Amazing area, good accommodation, great value for money
The following is a detailed description that may help other prospective guests to make an informed choice.
- There are easy transport options available, including limited street parking in front (usually occupied), two different bus stops 2-minute walk, a metro station 10-minute walk, bikes can be rented from nearby park entrance.
- The host is amazing and keeps in close contact throughout the trip, making guests feel at home and answering any questions. Communication language was French in our case.
- The location was great and as described (note also below section about this).
We were provided towels, blankets and pillows.
The apartment is on the 1st floor, there is an elevator (note also below about this).
The windows access the boulevard (but not crowded) across which there is an entrance to the Park. 1 min walk there is a supermarket.
From the entrance, there is one hallway L-shaped. There are some chairs and a small table. The hallway has doors to all the following:
-- Kitchen has an elevated table with bar chairs, washing machines (one clothes, one dishes), electric stove, microwave, fridge, and various kitchen tools (plates, bowls, glasses, pans, small utensils).
-- Bathroom features a bathtub (half-closed), sink, and cabinet.
-- Toilet room is located close to the bathroom, containing the toilet and home cleaning products.
-- A small room with some paintings and a bed
-- A medium room with a fireplace, two chairs and a bed. There is one built-in wardrobe.
-- A bigger room with a fireplace, two couches, a big marble table and a rocking chair. There are two built-in wardrobes. This room contains electronics such as a big TV, an audio system, and the wifi (we were provided the password that contained an additional "." at the end which we later resolved). The TV is connected to the network and I was able to watch shows. Language probably is only French or English. This room also connects with doors to the other two rooms above.
Not necessarily did not like, but these are some observations to be aware of.
- The elevator stops between floors (i.e., between the 1st and the 2nd) so you will need to go up or down the stairs from the elevator exit. Might be challenging with big bags or with small children.
- The apartment has flooring on the small, medium and bigger rooms (with beds). The flooring squeaks and it can be heard from a room away, and it may be a problem for trying to keep quiet (for example, a sleeping baby could wake up if there is movement).
- We could have appreciated more if we found some other basic products available (like soap, paper towel etc.) although the nearby store supplied easily what we needed. Other basic products were present (like toilet paper).

Logement bien situé , très plaisant.
Logement très bien situé pour visiter Lyon. L'accès au parc de la Tête d'Or en traversant le Boulevard des Belges est très appréciable.
Le style haussmannien de l'appartement est très classe et dépaysant.
La disponibilité de notre hôte
Certains éléments de l'équipement de l'appartement se sont révélés être défectueux :
- prises électriques à réviser, ne sont pas toutes fonctionnelles, un boîtier non vissé laisse voir les fils,
- Le radiateur sèche serviettes de la salle d'eau était hors d'usage,
- d'autre part, le chauffage de l'appartement qui était censé être en fonction ne l'était pas et nous ne savions pas comment le mettre en marche, (nous aurions sans doute dû nous manifester pour le signaler mais il est vrai que les températures étaient clémentes)
- une des lampes du séjour ne fonctionnait pas (ampoule grillée ?)
Enfin, à signaler le matelas de la chambre principale qui présente "une cuvette" en son milieu, inconfortable pour le dos.
