Very comfortable apartment. Bed was very comfortable. I had windows open at night and experienced minimal noise. Very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the history of the building and easy access to Les Halles. Good food and good shopping. Would definitely stay here again if in Lyon.

So chic, so comfortable, great district, so French! The apartment was absolutely perfect. The decor was very French and ultra chic. All the facilities worked. Hot water 24/7. The bed was super-comfortable - it all made me feel I was living la vie francais. I would definitely go back

We really enjoyed staying so close to the famous food hall and other great food options close by. The apartment was spacious for the two of us and it was thoughtfully supplied with items to make it a very nice place to stay for a while. We found the sofa/seating not super comfortable but you'll likely be out and about anyway highly recommend this apartment.

We were delighted with this apartment in every way. Located in a very pleasant neighbourhood, it is light-filled, airy and spacious, with close-by amenities for shopping and dining. It is thoughtfully and comfortably furnished, and well-equipped. It feels like a home. Nathalie was quickly responsive to the few questions we had. Highly recommend.

My partner and I were in Lyon to watch women's soccer for the Olympics and it was the perfect location. It was near the major train lines and also near the old part of Lyon. Nathalie has a 3 binder folder with very useful and helpful information about the apartment and the location.

This 1 bedroom apartment with a spacious well appointed kitchen is located on the 4th floor of an elevator building. Check in was straightforward with no hassles. There is a comfortable queen bed in the bed room and a comfortable day bed in a nook of the living room. The large windows and the available fans allow one to keep the apartment at a comfortable at night. The bakery across the street is quite decent, and the supermarket around the corner is quite good. The apartment is close to the A and B Metro lines. It is either 10 minute walk to the Part Dieu Train Station to catch the B line or a 12 minute walk to the Masséna station to catch the A Line.

This is an old French apartment and is located very close to the "Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse", a minute walk across the street, and about 10 mins walk from the Lyon Part Dieu train station. Monoprix is also just a minute walk away and 3 minutes walk to Picard (the frozen food store). It has all the amenities like cookware, utensils, laundry washer etc. and is good for family stay, which needs to do some cooking and laundry.

Good location for trams, Metro and train station. Good restaurants within 20 minute walk. Wifi and cable tv not working most of visit. Owner said operator issues. No coffee, tea, salt, pepper or any spices in kitchen. Bed was comfortable but not pillow. Sofa(bed) and chairs not comfortable.

We were extremely happy about our very French apartment and even happier about the accommodations by the wonderful host for an earlier check in. After an overnight transatlantic flight, it was greatly appreciated. There were a couple of times that we had to reach out to our host, and each time the communication was prompt, productive and respectful. Sometimes when you live in North America, you can forget what it may be like to live in a building that has so much wonderful history . The elevator is not for the faint of heart, but it worked perfectly and was our choice most of the time given the other option of 101 stairs. If we ever get the pleasure to revisit Lyon , we would jump at the chance to stay here again . Heather and Shawn

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a few nights in August. Apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet. Location is great, in particular having Les Halles so close. First visit to Lyon. Would return to both the city and the apartment. Communication from Nathalie was always prompt and helpful - thank you.

Check in/out was simple/easy. All instructions for appliances, checking in/out/ and directions to the apartment were absolutely well-thought out and easy to follow. Bed was very, very comfortable. Apt was fully equipped. Elevator was a great asset. Transit connections were close by and easy to navigate. Grocery stores close by. Very quiet building and no street noise. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. We loved the quaintness of this residence and felt like we were living like locals.

Really nice place, owners nice and helpful! Only problem is elevator did not work on second day; on third day, no hot water. Unfortunately we had to move since we couldn’t climb 4 stories without elevator and obviously we needed hot water. The owners we’re very helpful and in fact refunded our money so we could move to another place. I still recommend this place if those problems are corrected and judging from my dealings with owners I am certain the problems have been remedied.

We enjoyed our 2-week stay here. It's literally across the street from Les Halles de Lyon - think of it as the food hall at Harrod's in London, or the ferry building in San Francisco - but BETTER. We like that it's two rivers away from Old Town, which means the immediate neighborhood feels very residential, and that's exactly what we wanted. Another plus is that it's a short walk from the train station, making it easier to take side trips. The host is responsive and cordial. We'd recommend the place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, in a primarily residential neighborhood, it seems. Exactly as we like it, away from the masses of tourists, and close to neighborhood markets, (& some must stop touristy stops like Les Halles de Lyon- Paul Bucose). The hosts set up a perfect home-like atmosphere, even had a lovely teapot! (Thank you for that, so glad I brought my favorite tea!) This historic building includes an elevator to reach the floor. This is not meant to be the Intercontinental, or a high end hotel. But, if what you are looking for is living like a local during your stay, this is it. Uber lifts were very accessible as well, to get to to other areas of Lyon. While the apartment itself was very quiet from noise in the other apartments, and it was generally very peaceful and relaxing. However, fir light sleepers, the street noise at night and the early morning on some days was a bit loud whilst sleeping, (bar just near property, and early morning truck deliveries and trash pick up to nearby shops in the early morning). No fault of the property or hosts. But, a suggestion during your stay -We solved this by keeping the bedroom window closed, and only keeping the living room or kitchen windows open at night. The kitchen, which faces the back of the property was very quiet, and provided for a lovely breeze. I would highly recommend this location. Just lovely for our tastes in travel. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your lovely property! I do hope we can visit again.

The apartment has some beautiful features, wood floors, marble fireplaces, tall ceilings and crown molding. The bed is large and comfortable and there is plenty of storage, too. Paul Bocuse Les Halles was across the street, though we found about half the booths were open for business and there is a large shopping center very nearby. With public transport you can get anywhere quickly, but if walking, it's quite a trek to Vieux Lyon. The apartment does need some updating, but all in all, very comfortable.

A most perfect flat so central to everything Lyon has to offer! Less than a block from Les Halles, a most magnificent market with incredible restaurants, a monoprix, a huge mall with a Carrefoure and just a short walk to the Rhone 🥰 Then the flat itself! A lift to the 4th floor is very useful, inside the kitchen is large and well equipped, the bathroom has lots of storage, comfortable shower with plenty of hot water. Living area comfortable and convenient and the bed is comfortable 🥰 Our hosts Nathalie and Stephane were so gracious and helpful in several capacities and we appreciate them deeply. Highly recommend this experience!

Without question this is one of the finest apartments we have ever rented. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and it’s perfectly decorated in period style. The location can’t be beaten. You’re right across the street from Les Halles Paul Brocuse with all of its food offerings as well as safe and secure parking. Access to the Metro is a short walk away. If you’re arriving in Lyon by train, this apartment is within walking distance of the station. The owners are the best. They communicate full information on access well in advance. One of them will be on site to meet you when you arrive. The information they provide is thorough. In summary, if you’re coming to Lyon, this is the place you should rent. It’s part of a vibrant, urban neighborhood that will give you a clear picture of what it’s like to live in beautiful Lyon.

We enjoyed staying in this apartment very much. I would warn though that in hot weather it is very hot and there are mosquitoes so that is the only problem we had. Some people have also mentioned the early morning noise from Monoprix but that was ok as I needed to get to my conference. Super convenient for trains and buses all over the city. Thank you!

Loved this apartment for two week stay in downtown Lyon. It was across the street from Les Halles Paul Bocuse which is an amazing "hall" with all sorts of food providers of the highest level. The apartment was quiet and spacious. Washer and dishwasher were able and efficient. A/C is provided by a portable unit that exhausts out a window. Also close to a very convenient grocery store and two blocks from large mall. If you stay here, take the walk up to Tet d'Or, the park to the north. Easy access to bus line over to Pres qu'il. Nathalie was superb to work with. I would say you should synch location where you need to be with location of apartment. If not walkable or on a bus line, rethink as you would end up taking bus or walking to subway and then on from there. Plenty of cafe's and restaurants and shops around.I hope to come back...

We really enjoyed staying at this "very French apartment" in Lyon. It was so comfortable and was well stocked in advance with a starter kit. The location was perfect. We could walk to everything (shops, La Part Dieu commercial center, Les Halles covered open market, cleaners, shoe repair, boulangerie, pharmacie, restaurants, etc.) and only 5 minutes by foot from the Le Part Dieu train station. The proprietors could not have been nicer. Nathalie was very professional and organized, ensuring everything went smoothly. Stephan, her husband, met us at the apartment the first night, to welcome us and explain everything. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our next visit. Kathleen & Jean Claude

clean, spacious, well-appointed and great location in Lyon right across from Les Halles--- access close to tram, metro, and of course buses. And then there is Dominique---- very helpful to the visitor to Lyon and if your first language is English, as mine is, she is quite fluent. The apartment itself is very comfortable with many of the "little things" already thought of. Kitchen very adequate for preparing meals which of course is hard to do with all the temptations of Lyon. Thanks Dominique, you made our time in your wonderful city even more special.

L'appartement est spacieux et a beaucoup de charme. Propre et bien agencé, son emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Lyon, à pied sans problème. Tout est à proximité pour se garer, se restaurer, faire ses courses. Les seuls bémols sont la rue vivante et donc un peu bruyante (quand les fenêtres sont ouvertes) et la chaleur mais notre séjour s'est déroulé en pleine canicule et nous avions un climatiseur et de nombreux ventilateurs à notre disposition. Venus en famille (2 adultes et deux enfants), nous recommandons vivement ce logement et remercions la propriétaire très réactive et agréable dans les échanges.

On se sent tout de suite à l’aise dans ce charmant appartement, d’une propreté irréprochable, avec de beaux volumes et une cuisine très bien équipée. Nous confirmons que le nécessaire basique est disponible : super ! De plus, nous avons apprécié le quartier avec tous types de commerces ; à 10-15 mn à pied du pont Wilson ou du parc de La Tête d’Or. Nathalie est très réactive et les informations fournies sont très claires.

Nous avons passés un bon séjour, endroit très agréable, proche de tout ( métro, SNCF et ce magnifique parc tête d'or). Appartement très lumineux, très agréable et très propre. Les propriétaires sont très gentils.
