Worth it!

Such a lovely Airbnb with hotel treatment, really comfortable and got everything we needed. Loved the bathroom and bed was super comfy. Suzy the house keeper was also super lovely, and gave us some ideas on what to do in Split.

Only downside is that is a little bit far from city center.

The location was amazing. Bed very comfortable, lots of great local spots. Beach right at the bottom of the road, towels ready to use. 15 min walk into the centre of town. We had a great time!

A wonderful stay for the family.

The apartment is beautiful and comfortable - feels new and has all the amenities you need. Close walk to the beach (5 min), old town (20 min), and so many restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets nearby. Parking is included as well. We were on the 3rd floor and the views were beautiful. Enjoyed my coffee on the balcony every morning and relaxed with the family out there every evening. Owner/housekeeper were very accessible and responded right away. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our time at Villa Mala.

Superb accommodation

Apartment was amazing- huge - beautifully decorated. Very comfortable sofa. Amazing hot tub and balcony areas. Kitted out with everything you could need in the kitchen. Susie was amazing and couldn’t be more accommodating- anything you wanted she was very happy to help and the accommodation was spotless. Location more residential than city centre but only A short walk into Split and to the beach which worked for us well. Only downside was the pool which was not deep enough to swim in- very smart area but more to paddle in than to swim in. But the beach was close by and perfect for swimming instead. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great quality modern apartment. Jacuzzi was really good at the end of the day. Very comfortable beds and facilities had everything we needed.

Swimming pool was very shallow and not a lot of space around it. If one family is using it then not really space for anyone else.

Fantastic place to stay

Very modern and clean. Tasty croatian biscuits and a bottle of wine were available for us when we arrived which I thought was a nice gesture. Area is safe and quiet. Housekeeper Suzy was lovely and very attentive.

Wonderful oasis in a beautiful neighborhood in central Split, close to the old town.

Very nice apartment - more than exceeded expectations from the photos. Nice welcome with local goodies and water in the fridge. Very helpful printed information with accurate guidance on restaurants, beaches, local services. Kitchen nicely laid out - espresso machine was great and they were generous with the pods. Comfortable bed. Large patio with protective shade - great breakfast spot. Beach towels provided. Ceiling fan was great! The apartment is in a particularly nice Split neighborhood. Close to the old town, but a little removed in an upscale environment with very nice houses, buildings, and tree lined streets, a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We had a car, and parking was very easy. Two spots on site, but fairly easy street parking on the same block. Even though it was in central Split, we took several day trips and it was very easy to drive in and out of town from this location.

Location was quiet and peaceful but close to the old town and the ferry port and easy for us to walk everywhere. The apartment block is modern, safe and secure and in a very nice residential area which was very safe for walking around in. Studio Apartment was on first floor but had a lift if required. The studio apartment was absolutely perfect. Modern, clean and spacious. Quality bed and linen. Lovely modern kitchen area and breakfast bar. Kitchen had everything required for a stay and all good quality too. Bathroom was spacious and modern with a large walk in shower. Nice toiletries supplied and quality towels. Modern lighting and furnishings and homely feel too. The private balcony was very spacious and had a day lounger as well as a table and chairs. Very peaceful spot to enjoy overlooking the quiet street and roof tops. There was also a small shared pool to the side of the property which was nice to cool off in but not a swimming pool as such. Still a very added bonus and easily accessible. There was a lovely shaded garden area to the rear which was well equipped with comfortable seating and a quiet relaxation spot out of the sun. The host was excellent with communications and friendly and helpful too. We have stayed in Split 5 times now and this has been our best accommodation over the years. We would definitely return in the future. A perfect studio apartment which absolutely made a wonderful returning visit to Split. Many thanks to the host for providing such beautiful accommodation.

No dislikes as such. It was quite expensive but the high season cost is no more expensive than other accommodation of its standard so we felt it was good value for money.

Amazing apartment !

Amazing apartment. All what you need is in the apartment. Coffee machine, towels, basic cosmetics etc.. we had an apartment with jacuzzi . Great expirience. The swimming pool is cool , however is quite small. Anyhow, I would go there again. Truly recommend. Love it♥️

Highly recommend

Superb apartments in a quiet residential area within 15 minute walk of Split. The apartments are really well equipped with a lovely pool to sit in plus an outdoor kitchen and seating area. The rooms are sound proofed so it is incredibly quiet, very comfortable beds. The lady running it was so helpful and the place is spotlessly clean.

Home away form home

The accommodation is as presented in the pictures and description. The hosts are very forthcoming and were always available to accommodate any of requests. The location is in a quiet area a few steps from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the old city centre, bus, train station and the main ferry port to the islands. A great stay. I definitely recommend it.

Beautiful, new looking and well equipped apartment. Location is very good location (quiet area, but everything you need is just walking distance). Would visit again.

Pool is much smaller than on the pictures, mainly suitable for kids. Room was not cleaned regularly (expected they throw out the trash).

Perfect stay in Split

On arrival the friendly housekeeper Suzy met us and showed us how to access the apartment. We were met with a lovely clean room, with clean towels, complimentary wine and treats. Our lovely room overlooked the street and had a large sunny balcony with a sunbed. Pool area was clean. The apartment was nice and quiet for our stay. We felt extremely safe especially walking at night alone as two girls. The apartment is about 10-15 minute walk from Split town centre so easy to get about, but can also book an Uber if you prefer. We had a late flight home so stayed round the pool most of the day, Suzy ensured that we had everything we needed in the day and even made us some homemade pizza!!! (best pizza ever) Overall our stay was incredible and we would recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Split 😊 Thank you for looking after us Suzy 🥰🥰🥰

Amazing stay with more than everything you need

11/10 experience: the apartment is super clean, spacious, luxurious, very high quality finished, kitchen very well equipped, we were showered upon check in with delicious Tortica waffles (which I got addicted to the whole trip), 2 tasty drinks , Nespresso coffee… I wish I had booked more days here

Cute but would not book again

It was nice looking.

The smell of the fabric freshener was unbearable and it took a lot of effort to resolve but smell wasn't gone. Tv didn't work. Fan over bed was a huge problem, it was very weird to have wind hitting ur face. The air in the room wasn't great. No breakfast included and no breakfast places were walking distance.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the place was very clean and quiet.

Our room was never cleaned or the towels changed for our whole trip. I also disturbed whilst in the pool and was asked to provide my passport half way through my holiday when the host had my number and had not asked for this in advance.

Superb.

Great apartment in a great location. Everything in the apartment was top spec, definitely a luxury apartment. The maid was lovely and made us feel very welcome when showing us to our apartment. Would definitely recommend staying here. P.s we went to Maestro Grill Club which was recommended in the welcome book and only a 5 minute walk away, would recommend going there also, the food was amazing.

Only negative would be that the pool looks quite a lot bigger in the pictures than it does in person. It is a good Sun spot though!

Beautiful, luxurious property - but hope for respectful fellow guests

Villa Mala is a beautiful, stylish and tastefully furnished (both the studios as the exteriors) property. We had the superior studio for 8 nights of vacation and remote work. While not a big space, the studio has a very thoughtful layout, sufficient storage space and everything you need to prepare an apéro or even a small lunch/dinner at home and eat on the little balcony. I especially loved the garden (Pedrali garden furniture, wow) where I was even able to practise yoga. We also appreciated the mini pool, great for a quick dip in the morning or evening pre/post beach or boat. The host/prop managers were very attentive and took good care of us.

Note that this property's charm begin and end with your fellow guests. We were rather unlucky in the 2nd half of our stay as a group of crazy loud and disrespectful 'frat boys' checked into the other units and made nighttime sleep or a relaxing daytime stay nearly impossible. However, kudos to our property manager who took our complaints seriously and helped mitigate the situation.
