The location so easy to walk to town. So peaceful. Spacious rooms and the staff were lovely.

Excellent more like a beautiful mini hotel with circa 10 rooms
We had room 7 which was right next to the pool and was excellent
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and breakfast was also great
The pictures on the website were correct and the thatched style roof on the main building was a nice touch
The guest house was set back up a small hill from the main centre
However this was no problem as we just got Ubers backwards and forwards the journey time being only a couple of minutes and always picked us up within 1 to 3 minutes and were so cheap circa £2.75
Franshoek is a lovely small town with many restaurants we chose it for 3 days as the famous wine train starts there
Also Stellenbosch is only a half an hour away in a uber and being a historic university town is larger well worth a day visit
So overall would definitely recommend the guest house

Advertised as a luxury suite. Not. Simple amenities like a 2nd key and a shower cap had to be “searched for” by the obliging staff. Room facilities very basic. Overcharged.
