Love house, very comfortable. Very dog and child friendly. Very happy with the house and the stay.

Two out six of the chairs at the dinning room table need work to make them unused-able.

Location was perfect

Lovely little house, good location. Well equipped and very clean. Yes, it could do with some small areas of paintwork touching up, and the carpet in the lounge looked a bit stained, but that didn't spoil our stay. It was a home from home. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and had nice quality bedding. Staff at the onsite pub were welcoming and helpful and visitors were chatting together mostly about their dogs. There was a good atmosphere. The beach is lovely, soft golden sand as you arrive. Great family place, very family orientated. The walk into Filey was very manageable and Filey itself never fails to charm. Lovely seaside town that's hardly changed since I started going 60 years ago and rediscovered only recently. Would highly recommend a break here. But if you're looking for amusement arcades, loud pubs, a hen / stag venue this is not the place.

Getting in and out of the shower was a bit tricky due to the bath taps position, but I managed. Good shower.

The location is great in terms of the facilities on site/access to the beach and it is a very well equipped kitchen. It was quiet and parking was excellent.

The cleanliness was poor. I had to go out to get cif/bleach and cleaned the bathroom/kitchen, even the TV screen was dirty (with more than just smudges attached to it) before I could relax. No pillow case covers/mattress protectors so made me feel uncomfortable. Add to that the rusty radiators just made me feel unclean. Towels and bedding on clean and smelt clean. I think dog friendly properties do better without carpets. the living room had a distinct odour, fortunately not upstairs but imagine it will in time. A better cleaning service with attention to detail eg doors/glass/skirts/kitchen cupboards would make it brilliant. I have stayed in Filey in cheaper and far cleaner accommodation and in the town itself. I wish in hindsight I have taken pics to illustrate my concerns but just wanted to get it clean so I could relax.
