Center apartment with lots of charm

Real good location, in the center of Lille. Rather large: one big room, a bathroom and a kitchen. Clean and well equipped. Not much noise from the outside. Carrefour City close by, both stations within walking distance. Many things to do and all pretty cheap. You don't need to buy a city pass, unless you like those guided bus tours. Do buy a public transport "pass-pass" for two euro and top it up every day you plan to use the public transport. Much cheaper. The city center is strictly walking, though. Take the tram to go to Roubaix (you should absolutely visit La Piscine museum!) and Tourcoing. I takes longer than the metro but you see much more.

The screen between the bed and the rest of the room, visible on the pictures, was not there. Rather unfortunate, because I am an early riser and my wife is an evening person. The building is terribly noisy, you hear every word that is spoken on the stairwell, and the floor of the upstairs neighbour creaks something awful. We were lucky that he kept decent times. We were warned beforehand, but those stairs are indeed very steep and have no handrail. I *hate* that tdeposit that more and more appartments in France require. It was on the website in this case, but I think it is a sign of distrust. The financial company wanted to know all kind of things that seemed totally irrelevant to me. Will they be selling my data to third parties? If they don't trust me, why should I trust them? As for the owners, we never saw them.

De centrale ligging van het appartement. Het appartement voldoet aan de verwachtingen zoals beschreven. Het appartement is goed en comfortabel ingericht. We hebben een prima verblijf gehad.

Helaas ging de aankomst niet zoals gewenst. In de sleutelbox zaten géén sleutels,dus de accommodatie konden we niet binnenkomen. Na wat telefoontjes en een uur wachttijd kregen we bericht dat de sleutels in de sleutelbox lagen. Jammer dat onze korte vakantie zo moest starten.

L’emplacement et la grandeur de l’appartement

J’ai retrouvé entre la table de nuit et sous le lit un emballage de préservatif usagé. Mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain. Je recommande de mettre un diffuseur d’odeur et de mieux nettoyer

De locatie was ideaal en het bed was heerlijk schoon en erg comfortabel. Ook het hebben van een lekkere bank en goede WI-FI was erg fijn. Tenslotte was het entertainment aanbod via de TV (veel streaming diensten en kunnen casten via telefoon) erg ruim.

Het appartement was niet heel schoon. Op veel plekken lag stof of hingen spinnenwebben, het bestek en servies was niet (goed) afgewassen. Badkamer was wel schoon, maar erg oud. De kamerverdeler/scherm die op de foto's het bed afschermt van de rest van de kamer was er niet meer. Meerdere lampen waren stuk en deden het dus niet. Tv-meubel en bijzettafel oogten zo fragiel dat ik ze niet durfde aan te raken. Al met al geen enorme afknapper, maar wel vervelend binnenkomen en niet in verhouding met de prijs.
