Review of serenity house- short break

Excellent communication from host. Easy access to the house and ideal location for what we needed.

House seemed a little run down and requiring some TLC. Bathroom had a leaking sink which we informed host about but it seemed to have been like it a while as flooring lifted in hallway. The house was clean and dusted on the surface but a bit run down and grimy in places. The fridge stunk. However would stay again and could look past this. The house looked better in the photos when booking. Ceilings looked dodgy in the lounge The electrics crackled in the main bedroom and the switch was hanging off the wall.

Nice, clean and decent space

A bit paindu lounge decor and really awfully smelly fridge and freezer that we had to air out for the first day.

Grubby .

It was on a lovely street and close to where we needed to be.

It just felt grubby , tired and unloved. The lounge wasn’t comfortable, the ceiling looked terrible ( bits falling /dropping down ) and a fire that doesn’t work and extremely uncomfortable sofas , blinds and curtains around the whole house didn’t work or was broken . It was a very basic house , air fryer didn’t work and cups were dirty /stained. Bathroom was terrible , again everything was falling apart , stair carpet wasn’t fitted properly so a bit dangerous. The whole house needs an overall and especially a deep clean . We cleaned it ourselves. Owner thanks us for leaving the house clean when we left .

Good location, the person who owned it was very kind and helpful.

The kitchen was a bit lacking in some areas, and the sofas weren’t very comfortable, the bunk beds were in a location where you had to climb on furniture to get to the ladder so a bit awkward.

Preiswert. Gute Lage, nette Nachbarn. Parken direkt vor dem Haus.

Längst überfällige Renovierung, sehr alter Standard. Modriger Geruch im Untergeschoss. Schimmel in Bad und Küche. Nicht sauber, Schmutziges Geschirr, Staub und Spinnweben. Zum Teil schöne Bilder, welche in die Irre führen, da sie nicht dem aktuellen Zustand entsprechen. Ich könnte die Liste noch lange fortsetzen…
