Wonderful property and host. Travelled with three young kids and dog and everything was perfect. The property is wonderful, can climb up to a beautiful view point from front door, dog off lead, house is warm comfortable clean and well provided. Great location. Hot tub was a massive hit for the family. Would love to return. Can't think of anything that we needed that wasn't there. The games provided were a great bonus! Thank you for having us!

Unreliable and unprofessional way of dealing with customers.
No idea as was cancelled last minute leaving us with no other option to cancel the trip as no alternatives. Shame tho as looked good.
Flippant attitude and impersonal text received from property. “nothing I can do Im afraid”, unprofessional to say the least. Also tried to get me to cancel the booking at my end which would have meant I lost the money as was a non refundable booking. Booking.com not much better as still not had a reply three days later despite saying would get back to me within 24 hours, total letdown and ruined the weekend.

Peaceful and relaxing
The location and scenery. The home sauna was fantastic and got to do this outdoors looking onto the beautiful scenery.

Poor communication, cleanliness issues and unsafe hot tub area.
The location and views were lovely.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the property was below an acceptable standard on arrival. The fridge was dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen cupboards and drawers were difficult to open, with some not opening at all. There were cobwebs throughout the property and dead flies on the bathroom floor. The bathroom was mouldy. Overall, this made the accommodation feel poorly maintained. Communication from the host was poor from the outset. On arrival, we were not given clear instructions on how or where to collect the key, which meant we had to sit in the car for around 20 minutes before gaining access to the property. More seriously, the hot tub area felt unsafe. There is an unmarked sheer drop directly beside the hot tub, which is not obvious, particularly in low light. The lighting around the hot tub is very limited, with only two sensor lights that switch off very quickly, leaving the area very poorly lit. During normal use of the hot tub, my partner fell and sustained cuts and significant bruising. This was extremely upsetting and could have been far more serious. We informed the host immediately after the incident but received no response at all, either to check on his wellbeing or to acknowledge the safety concern. The lack of communication following an injury on the property was unacceptable. Due to the cleanliness issues, safety concerns, and very poor communication from the host, we would not return or recommend this property.

Great hosts hidden gem hot tub and sauna cottage was lovely warm WiFi was really good
I can't honestly rate this place enough we came last year and booked again for this year and will be booking nxt year aswell hosts where so nice two big friendly dogs we had our dogs with us and there was nvr even a snarl between them beds are so comfy hot tub was amazing so was sauna stunning views everything we needed even decided to stay a extra night

Massively Disappointed
The location
Property has a lot of potential but the stay was a complete let down due to hygiene and safety issues. On arrival it was pitch black and we were only told the kitchen was being upgraded, with no mention of the wider issues. The fridge was extremely small and not suitable for a weekend stay. Access to the hot tub felt awkward and there was no lighting on the stairs or path to it, meaning we had to use a phone torch to walk in the dark. There were multiple cleanliness and maintenance concerns in the bathroom and bedroom including what appeared to be rodent droppings, heavily stained shower head and fittings, a bathroom bin coming away from the wall, and a bedroom socket area that did not look safe. Due to being unable to shower properly, we left early. Not requesting a refund, but highlighting these issues as they are hygiene and safety related.

LOVELY STAY.
Excellent stay in the farmhouse. Four of us in the property and were really pleased. Great location as we were on a fishing trip for a few days. Warm and comfortable with all that we needed for our stay. Would not hesitate in using the property again. Very friendly helpful host.

Being rushed .. time stated 10-11 checkout .. we had the hosts at the door at 10.15 asking was we ready to go .. we was out by 10.45 whilst we was still putting stuff in the car the hosts where upstairs in the property .. felt invasive
