When I came to stay on property it was dirty looked as if there was a party the night before and no one had came to clean it. Couldn’t use shower because it was dirty. No clean sheets communication with host was not the best but i did receive a refund for my trouble so that’s why I gave it 2 stars

My stay was immaculate! A nice family oriented neighborhood with good vibes all around us. The unit is roomy and comfortable. You would never think such a place existed tucked away near nightlife. I will definitely book again! The host is awesome and very attentive as well.

We booked this for the Bourbon and Beyond festival. The apartment, is on top of the bar. As expected we did hear a little noise from below, but it was never loud enough to be an inconvenience. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. It was a great to head downstairs for drinks of breakfast. We'll be back!

I planned this weekend for my sister who gets married next month. There were 7 of us total, the place was clean and easy. It’s located right about Hauck’s Corner, a booming bar with outdoor and indoor seating. It can be kind of loud through 3am, but totally worth it.

The overall stay was good. However be prepared for the bar to be busy every night of the week until 2am when they close, recommend a sound machine if you don’t plan on being up late if you’re a light sleeper. The bar was fun and all employees were friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to other bars and restaurants. There were some things that needed to be fixed/should be added. - the fans in the bedrooms you couldn’t turn off the lights and have just the fans on. - there is no set of knifes so don’t plan on cooking anything that needs to be cut/chopped - the oven only cooks at 350° - the fridge water/ice doesn’t work but we were able to get ice from the bar downstairs - the pull out couch is broken so you will just be sleeping on the couch itself

Location, environment and layout was perfect for what we were looking for. Would stay here again. Only caveat would be reversed parking isn’t really reserved. Patrons of the bar or restaurant will use the designated spot. Property owner and bar will actively try to get the spot open but they can’t force anyone to move. We were able to use the spot once during our trip. Small inconvenience but one to note. Hopeful to book again in the not so distance future.

We stayed four nights, 2 adults 4 kids ages from 9-16 Plenty of room for all of us. Clean, comfortable, and great location. We were less than 15 minutes from everything we wanted to go see. Nations Largest Farm Show, Louisville Slugger museum, an arcade plus more. Bonus that there was a breakfast place, lunch supper, and bar a few steps away. Very impressed with the meals, they did not disappoint. Something for everybody in our party. The staff was also amazing and super friendly. Highly recommend for a true downtown Germantown feel.

The location was great! There were plenty of places to walk to from here. The bar/courtyard below was an amazing space to grab a drink and hangout. You could hear a little bit of the chatter from the bar at night, but nothing we couldn’t sleep through. There was a parking spot dedicated to us guests but we had some issues on the weekend of unwanted cars parking there and forcing us to park down the street. Overall a great stay for a short weekend!

Hauck’s Nest was just that — a stylish, fun loft perched above a happening bar in a popular neighborhood! It was centrally located to plenty of restaurants, which definitely helped when returning to the place late and wanting pizza — it was just across the street! Bonus points for the comfortable beds. It is above a bar, so if noise is not your thing or you want it quiet at midnight, this isn’t the stay for you. The host was very communicative about that ahead of the stay, though. We knew what we were getting into, and it was not an issue at all.

Ethan’s place is great, clean, comfy beds and great vibe. We knew it was above a neighborhood bar with great outdoor space. Bar doesn’t close until 2 am Thurs-Saturday and it is VERY popular bar. If you don’t go to bed until 2 am or travel with earplugs and can sleep through anything, don’t hesitate to book Ethan’s place. Lots of great food options within walking distance and an easy drive to any place you want to be in town.

Our family had a great time here. The location was awesome, close drive to pretty much everything. Germantown area was so unique and fun. Being above Hauck's was a cool bonus and we could easily enjoy the courtyard and grab a snack or drink and just relax. Ethan was quick to respond and very helpful. Would stay again!

Great place that was clean and comfy and had everything we needed for a quick girls trip. Location has some fun history that is on full display in the bar downstairs. Courtyard was a great spot to enjoy a few drinks in the evenings. Ethan was great at communicating with us. If you're looking for a breakfast spot would highly recommend Big Bad Breakfast which is just a few miles away. Would stay again!

This property was amazing. Very clean and comfortable for us. We went with a few girls from our basketball team for a basketball tournament in the area. If had everything we needed. Ethan was great at communicating. Location was close to everything we needed! Courtyard they are making is sooo cute and nice to hang out in once fully complete.
