Beachfront condo on ground floor with full kitchen & central AC

The place and the beach is amazing

Great Location! Beach was not over crowed and there were several places to eat within walking distance. Ubers were also readily available to go to Clearwater or nearby towns to eat. Good trip

The accommodations were excellent. The location was right on the beach and there was very few others parked on the beach in front of our bungalow. Considering that this area was hit very hard with tow hurricanes back to back last year, the property owners really stepped up and remodeled everything to look and feel right at home. Lots of additional amenities like beach chairs and umbrellas where previous visitors left behind for the next to use. We left a boogie board for the family next to us to keep using. Location was perfect!!

Overall: Would rate this 3.5 if I could. Great location, so-so bungalow, with some changes could be a 5-star place again. The good: the location here can't be beaten; it is a five star location without a doubt as long as you are looking for a lower-key beach area. You can see the ocean from the living area, and the outdoor setup here is great with the lower rooms having a table outside their sliding door, kayak/paddleboards easily available, ample beach chairs/loungers/tables, fire pit with wood provided, and grill with gas provided. We were able to take the kayaks out and get right next to dolphins in the mornings. Indians Shores/Rocks is a great area with a ton of restaurant options and not far from more touristy areas for activities. Three beach umbrellas were available at the time of this review, but the details say they won't be replaced if broken. Room was clean and the listing was accurate from what I remember. The not so good: the room itself and furnishings feel cheap like it was done for a budget of around $200 at homegoods. Sink sprayer had a broken button so it just sprayed water all over the place. Uncomfortable lumpy bed, very poor air flow in bedroom, and restrictions on placing AC below 73 or opening windows make for some stuffy nights and leaves it less enjoyable than it could have been. To help with the airflow, the previous occupant had left some cardboard strips from a pizza box in the bedroom vents. We often preferred sleeping on the couch because of the stuffy atmosphere. Kitchen setup is small but decent with pots/pans/spatulas, coffee maker, toaster but little else included except for a roll of paper towels, dish soap, and cheap TP. Never was able to find the bicycles in the photos, so those may have been removed. Having to wash dishes, take out trash, no daily cleanup during stay, no laundry soap provided, etc. but asking for housecleaning tips without daily service seems a bit strange as well since it feels more like booking from the BnB competitor than a hotel. Beach towels really should be provided since they almost always are at other properties from my experience. We ended up having to buy some even though they are restricted from being washed in the laundry. Since management has changed since many of the positive reviews, I tend to agree with some of the more recent reviews that the new management has not made this property a priority. I would consider staying here again, so I don't want to make it sound too negative. It does have everything you need in a great location, but I would consider other options first.
