Location was perfect, supplies was excellent we arrived late and did not have time to stop to get anything. Rooms excellent

Peace and Quiet in the countryside..

Loves everything about the cottage. It was comfortable and cosy. Had everything you could need on arrival. Fintan went above and beyond to make our stay such a pleasant one. Everything there ready to just put the kettle on and to make, cheese ham and tomato sandwiches, even fruit and biscuits and other little surprises. We were there for a family wedding, and Fintan drove us there, even offering to collect us after, and to drive us to the airport. A total gentleman and great host.

I really can't fault anything, it was perfect for what we wanted. Having a car would definitely be best to get around and be independent.

It was beautiful and well Maintained. Seeing the puppy was very nice and calming for me. Convenient and well supplied.

Amazing

There was plenty of space and storage in the well kept cottage. We had the best time especially the children. They enjoyed playing out the back on the swings/slides and with the 2 dogs. There was plenty of cutlery / plates / cups cooking equipment and we really appreciated the coffee pods and basic foods (bread, cheese, butter, milk, tea, sugar plus washing up) already in the fridge and ready for us on arrival. Fintan and Valerie were very good hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. It was lovely to speak to them. We are already deciding on the next date to come back. Thank you so much.

The cottage was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! Lots of space, Comfortable bed, strong shower, great kitchen and it was great to have a washer & dryer too.

Just fabulous!

The property was fabulous, we couldn’t fault it. It had everything traveller requires. There was bread,cheese, ham and jam along with tea, milk and a coffee pod machine, they thought of everything. There was also a washing machine and dryer.

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we needed another 3 days at least here, with these lovely hosts,

The kitchen was amazingly beautiful and clean . It lacks nothing. The location of the property is great as you have other cottage homes neighboring the property.

There is nothing to improve on. As for me, the place is a perfect, world class accommodation. I and my family received favor that we never experienced ever, in our past travel. The reception was very lovely and the favor cannot be priced.

Great location in County Meath to discover the area

We loved the location. Just far enough from Dublin, but close to so many attractions in County Meath. 2 bedrooms, comfortable sofa to convert to a bed. Large bathroom and well appointed kitchen. Suggested sights and visits we also spot on. All made our stay feel like home.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay while we toured Dublin, Bru Na Boinne and Fingal! Hosts were kind and friendly, the cottage was clean and the view was beautiful. Instructions were seamless, straightforward and simple.

Absolutely everything! From the cozy homely feel to the personal welcoming touches, I cannot recommend Brownstead Cottage highly enough! Valerie and Fintan were very welcoming and attentive. They really go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect!

A home away from home

Location was excellent with the access to the garden. Rooms were spacious and neat & tidy. A great place for family to spend holidays. Emerald park was at just 15 mins drive.

The bathroom/toilet lock was broken. This can be sorted easily.

Exceptional

House was perfect. Home away from home. All the amenities you needed, fresh milk, wheaten and jam provided for us. Kids loved the back garden, especially the sand box and fish pond! Loads of extra bedding and towels provided. Would definitely return to stay the next time we are going to Emerald Park!

Loved it, perfect for our family

Perfect all round, great for a young family. Really child friendly- my son loved the cot and highchair. Great Wi-Fi and smart tv. Kitchen was great- properly stocked so we could cook. Really useful to have washing machine and dryer. Hosts were so welcoming.

Lovely scenic, rural location. Only 10mins drive from Emerald Park! Very friendly and accommodating owner.

A superb cottage that was perfect for our family and young children. The friendliness and welcome that we received was wonderful. Felt at home. My grandchildren had a great time in the beautiful back garden.

I would like to be able to return and stay a little longer.

The cottage is in a beautiful setting and nicely located close to Dublin. The hosts, Fintan and Valerie were friendly, cooperative and treated us like family friends rather than customers. They were helpful and told us about places to eat, sites to visit and more.

I honestly can't say there was anything to dislike about this place or the hosts.

This is located in the lovely and serene, countryside. Yet close enough to see the sites and go to grocery store. The hosts, Valerie and Finn, are the most welcoming and caring folks i ever met at a B&B. They made sure i had everything i needed. Many, many thanks to them again, for all their kindness.

Dormitorios muy espaciosos y cómodos. El anfitrión tiene el detalle de dejar fruta, leche, cafés y panes de distintos tipos, mantequilla, mermelada, queso, fruta.... lo que facilita mucho como mínimo el desayuno. Además, vive en la casa contigua, por lo que cualquier duda o necesidad la resuelve enseguida. Es una persona muy agradable, te informa de qué zonas de interés hay cerca así como de cualquier duda que le preguntes. Zona muy tranquila, sin ruidos, pero bien comunicada

La limpieza, especialmente en la cocina, necesitaría algo de mejora (soy muy exigente) La calefacción algo complicada de gestionar, sólo funciona durante 3 horas seguidas, pero si estás en la casa cuando empieza a enfriarse, puedes volver a conectarla

La maison est très spacieuse, c'était propre, bien équipé, confortable, avec un sèche linge ! De gentilles attentions nous attendaient dans le frigo et sur le plan de travail pour le petit déjeuner. L'environnement était calme, c'était vraiment agréable.

La casa es estupenda. Todo lo necesario para la cocina, lavavajillas, secadora. La anfitriona nos dejó preparada la compra del desayuno: pan, mantequilla, mermelada, queso, jamón York, leche, café, pan blanco e integral. Es la primera vez que doy un 10.

Een heel huis ter beschikking, dus ruimte genoeg. Kinderen konden gaan slapen zonder dat we hen stoorden. Grote bedden en ruime kamers. Wasmachine ter beschikking, en de hosts leenden even hun wasrekje. Ook hadden ze brood, melk, confituur, boter en kaas voorzien, waardoor we 's ochtends lekker konden ontbijten. De gastheer gaf nog enkele interessante tips voor een restaurant en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.
