La Paix by the Sea II, 4th Ave & Surf - NWW! Perfect location for beach lovers

It was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Having the patio was great as we were three families with elementary and middle school aged kids so it was great to have two hangout spaces. We also appreciated a place to store our bikes. It's a short walk to the beach, only a couple of blocks away, which is great for the kids. It's also a short bike ride to the boardwalk. The coffee machine is great idea in theory, but not in practice. The coffee carafe is not an external pot that you see standard with a drip coffee machine. It's integrated into a cool system that stores the coffee, so each person can press a button to dispense their coffee, so the coffee always stays hot. But it didn't appear that anyone cleaned the integrated carafe or the dispenser in between stays in a while. It was very dirty. Double check it's clean before use. We also cleaned it after use. I found checkout procedures for kitchen and towels different from the standard. Instead of putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turning it on and placing the used kitchen/bathroom hand towels on the floor in the bathroom at checkout, we had to make sure the dishwasher is empty, all the dishes cleaned/put away, as well as wash, dry, fold, and put away all the hand towels and kitchen towels used. It made for a very hectic morning when we are already trying to pack up and head out by the 10:00 am checkout. So you'll want to plan for that and only use paper plates and paper towels the day of departure.

Great location to take the entire family with enough space for the kids to bring a friend! Very clean and the storage facility in the garage, made it very convenient to bring whatever else we needed! The owner even provided and umbrellas in the storage!
