The Shore House

Can't beat the location - the beach and boardwalk were so close and easy to get to - room was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent- they really put a lot of care and effort into it. They go above and beyond - I actually have never seen that kind of service and really appreciated it. Also I love that they provide beach gear - wagons, umbrellas, chairs, towels. It is so helpful especially traveling with kids to have everything available. The vibe was nice too.. they try to make it like a pool club vibe with the music and decor which I liked a lot. We didn't get to lounge in the cabanas but it seemed like a really cool vibe with firepits and music.

There is a gate around the pool - I understand the need for the placement of the gate directly around the pool as it is a pet friendly hotel so necessary to ensure the dogs don't get in, however it does make it hard especially having little children so you need to be inside the gate and can't really lounge by the water. It's not a deal breaker and completely understandable as to why but definitely something that was uncomfortable for us with young kids.

Great location. Have stayed here multiple times through the years. The owners are awesome and friendly. They keep the place very nice and clean.
