Lovely place to stay

Very nice place in a good location. The breakfast was very nice and generous. Sylvia also gave us great recommendations for places to see and hike. The bed was comfortable and everlasting very clean.

We had a fantastic stay at Il Pradicciolo. Sylvia is a wonderful hostess and the place is gorgeous.

They served a traditional italian breakfast and in addition the hostess made sure we got what we wanted. The coffee was delicious and the baked goods was homemade and delicious as well. We got tips about events in the village, places to visit. The hostess, Sylvia, was very helpful. We had the lounge area and garden at our disposal whenever we wanted. Excellent service! We also got the opportunity to have dinner and experience the traditional, local delicacies of the Garfagnana region at Il Pradicciolo which was lovely. We loved the aesthetics of the place; it was cozy, peaceful and beautifully decorated.

The beds were a bit hard for our liking, but that's just our preference.

A perfect place to stay except for the hard bed.

This was a last minute booking for me, and a very happy choice. Silvia is a wonderful host, and went to considerable lengths to help me find great walks in the area. She is also an excellent cook - the breakfasts were good, and the dinner she cooked was wonderful. Nice clean facilities, a good bathroom and easy walking to the centre of town, restaurants and markets. There is a busy road just outside the hostel, but good double glazing made the room very quiet at night.

The bed was too hard for my ageing bones. It would have good to have a mattress topper or something similar for people like me who need a bit more comfort.

There was no air conditioning or window screens. It would be ok without air conditioning but we couldn’t open the windows because without screens all the bugs started coming in. Screens are needed.

Clean place with lovely and very kind owner and staff!

The property is very neat and clean. The owner, Sylvia and one of the staff, Joanna are very kind and helpful people. I got a fever the next day when I arrived. They took care of me and my daughter until my husband came after. I was still sick a few days later, so both Sylvia and Joanna called the ambulance for me. Joanna drove my husband to the ER since family was unable to ride in the ambulance with the patient. Joanna also helped us in the hospital a lot, explaining everything to the doctor and the nurse in Italian. When my husband needed to go to the hospital to visit me, both Sylvia and Joanna took care of my daughter while she was alone. Joanna cooked very delicious and healthy food for my daughter. I recovered a few days later and we continued our trip to other Italian cities, but we will forever remember this place and the two very wonderful people, Sylvia and Joanna! Thanks a lot!

Everything was exactly as in the description of the accommodation. Nicely decorated and extremely clean. The hostess Silvia is very kind and warm-hearted, and the breakfast she prepares herself is delicious. 😊

Superb

Converted barn, meticulously restored. Room with large ceilings, perfect bathrooms. The ground floor is fully avalaible to guests including a large tv screen. The outside garden is fenced above street level, with a great sitting area. The host is very dedicated and friendly. She composes the breakfast from farmgrown materials, including great pastry. Wine is available from the vineyard. Location in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana allows easy access to restaurants and the road network, it is a small place with a real nice inner city part.

Free parking is available on a fenced area at the streer oposite to the house, with a bar that needs to be opened by the host. The street is quite narrow at that point, and it is not easy to temporarily stop and check in. Probably best to call and request the host to open th bar to the parking area.

Hier findest du gelebte Gastfreundschaft, die man viel zu selten antrifft

Das Agriturismo ist gut gelegen, wenn man die Stadt besichtigen möchte. Die Einrichtungen sind alle sehr wertig gemacht und es sieht alles neu aus. Alles funktioniert tadellos. Die Einrichtung ist einheitlich und in nüchternem modernem Stil gehalten – alles ist liebevoll aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Empfang durch die Gastgeberin Silvia ist angenehm freundlich und herzlich. Ich hatte mich zum Beispiel im Termin vertan, aber das war alles kein Problem. Silvia kümmert sich persönlich um das Frühstück (eher italienische Art) ihrer Gäste und liest einem wirklich die Wünsche von den Lippen ab. Das ist echte Gastfreundschaft. Auch Gäste mit Zöliakie können sich bedenkenlos in dieses B&B begeben, Silvia hat glutenfreie Produkte parat. Toll war auch, das Silvia sich so intensiv um meinen Wunsch für einen Museumsbesuch gekümmert hat: Sie musste dafür mehrere Telefon führen und mir am Schluss noch eine Begleitperson organisieren. Spitze!

Die Lage ist nicht so schön. Das Haus befindet sich grad neben einer vielbefahrenen Strasse. Die steigt erst noch gerade an, entsprechend geben die sportbewussten Automobilisti auch recht Gas. Es ist von Vorteil, wenn man ein Zimmer etwas auf die Seite hinaus bekommt. Allerdings ist es in der Nacht bis morgens nach fünf Uhr sehr ruhig und still draussen. Und wenn man das Fenster schliesst, ist der Lärm praktisch nicht mehr zu hören. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend gross - aber ich fand dann schon auch, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis etwas an der oberen Grenze ist, verglichen mit dem, was ich sonst so gesehen habe auf meiner Reise.

Delizioso soggiorno di relax nel cure della garfagnana

Posizione e confort ottimi. Buona colazione con prodotti fatti in casa. Struttura di accurato design con finiture di pregio, gestita direttamente dalla proprietà con simpatia, cura e disponibilità. Letto comodo, locali spaziosi dotati di armadi e sgabelli per sistemare i bagagli. Ampia zona living con angolo lettura, bibite e biscotti.

Nelle foto pubblicate su booking ci sono più strutture e quindi non è molto chiara la veduta d’insieme, cioè si crea confusione il collegamento tra immagine e struttura, per cui ero convinta di arrivare e trovare un giardino con piscina ed sdraio e non fu così… colpa mia, dovevo leggere più attentamente sulle caratteristiche. Per il resto tutto ottimo.

Struttura ristrutturata con gran gusto e cura dei particolari. Eccellente pulizia e accoglienza deliziosa con ottimi consigli su ristoranti e passeggiate nei dintorni.

Colazione con torte e biscotti meravigliosi e fatti in casa ma purtroppo a parte uova sode nient'altro di salato La struttura si trova su una strada statale e non ha nulla del classico agriturismo immerso nel verde. Il prezzo pagato non è giustificato per la posizione e la camera ( consiglio tra l'altro di cambiare i prodotti nei dispenser della doccia e utilizzare prodotti neutri, il mio compagno non lo voleva usare per il profumo fortissimo adatto a donne)

Geschmackvolles B&B am Berg

Das historische Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll restauriert und auch die Zimmer sind hochwertig eingerichtet. Nach vorheriger Anmeldung war sogar ein veganes Frühstück möglich. Die Besitzerin ist außerdem freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Die Lage des Hauses ist direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße, wodurch man im Zimmer eine gewisse Lautstärkentwicklung hat. Außerdem könnte es eine bessere Beschilderung geben, wo das Gebäude zu finden ist bzw. wo man zur Anreise parken soll, vielleicht auch über eine private Nachricht vor Anreise.
