Peaceful, private and comfortable

Quiet and peaceful, the host is very nice and friendly. The house is beside the main house, but it feels very private, and there are no disruptions of any type! The host goes the extra mile and leaves cooking supplies, tea, sugar, milk and even cookies! We enjoyed our stay and recommend it!!!!

Ideal for a retreat.

This property was very well appointed. Very clean, kept to a high standard. Our host met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know. Heating is by electric radiators which warm up quickly and are adjustable to your required temp. Water for the shower needs to run a while unless you like it cold! Shower/ body wash inc, plenty of fresh towels. Kitchen is great and easy to use cooker. our hosts left us milk and a rather lovely fruit cake. Tea, coffee, sugar provided. Beds gave us a good nights sleep. There is a lockable shed for bikes ect. Possibly a larger door mat would be useful for standing on and taking off muddy/wet boots/waterproofs. This would be an ideal place if you want to be on retreat, but take supplies with you as will have to return to Killarney for the nearest store. Would definitely book again.

This is just something that winds us up and to the majority of people it would be insignificant but why do T.V's have to be so prominent? A larger picture window to the side, with a view to the mountain would have been so much better. I know the owners can't change that but not everyone wants a large t.v. to stare at.

Beautiful view, good value & good location. Very clean & comfortable

Modern and sparklingly clean little apartment. Was very comfortable & had absolutely everything you could need. The view was unbelievable! So peaceful & serene. Well located to Killarney as well. Only a 12 minute drive with a car!

The shower pressure was quite weak (hot though!), but that didn’t take away from the experience. We loved our time here, one of our favourite places we stayed!

Very enjoyable stay in a quiet area but within reach of the Killarney National park, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Penisular

Quiet very comfortable, self contained apartment with a good scenic view in fact perfect for our 3 night visit. Visited the Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National park during our stay.

The door lock jammed , which needs attention and has been mentioned to the owner.

A perfect place to stay for a weekend in Killarney!

It was well located - 20 minutes from the town, and close by for going on hikes in Killarney National park. The kitchen was spotless, and had everything we needed for cooking in, and there was a table and chairs outside with a lovely view of the mountains too. Comfy beds and nice hot water for a shower.

We had a wonderful stay in a quiet location with a great starting point for day trips. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and very clean.

Excellent place to stay for excursions into Kilarney, Cork & environs.

It was quiet, clean and private. The host was brilliant - even providing us with coffee, tea, milk and a surprise chocolate Easter egg for our child and breakfast coffee cake.

The only tiny negative was the water pressure in the shower.

amazing view, great location, nice little touches like snacks in the fridge, milk and breakfast items provided. The host accommodated us when we asked to change check in time by a few hours which was super helpful!

Clean, private and hassle-free stay with an amazing view!

The apartment was outside the host's house and was private. Had an amazing view of the mountains, and some cats around (if you like them!) The host was kind, thoughtful and made our stay hassle-free and comfortable. The apartment had everything we wanted for a weekend stay and it was well maintained. Felt like home! If and when we visit Killarney again, I'll be sure to see if the apartment is available!

Amazing short break exploring Southern Ireland

The mountain view apartment was just perfect for our long adventure weekend exploring the beauty of Southern Ireland. The apartment is newly refurbished and done to high spec. Bed were so comfy! The view of the mountains were amazing to wake up to. Smooth and easy to collect keys and leave. There were some food items kindly left for us along with towels, washing up liquid, shampoo and shower gel provided. The WiFi was brilliant and also had parking at the side for free. I’d 100 percent recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet area

A really beautiful place and apartment. The apartment was very well equipped, everything was very clean and even some food for a start was placed in the fridge by the very nice hosts. The beds were very cosy and comfortable and we slept without disturbing noises. I´d definetly reccomend this accomodation for everyone who wants to have a relaxing and quiet stay.

Only a tiny thing. There was no wall socket next to a mirror.

It was a great and very clean apartment, super comfortable beds and lovely hosts, that even had a bit of food in the fridge for us. It's located in the countryside but Killarney center is reached quickly by car. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it 100%. Thank you Marie and Mike :)

The apartment was beautifully decorated, functional and comfortable. It was well equipped, cosy and quiet. The location is not far from Killarney. We like quiet places and try to avoid staying in towns and this was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the shower just fantastic. Marie welcomed us and very kindly gave us delicious scones, she had also left us milk, biscuits, yoghurts and butter in the fridge. It is really nice to have some home comforts until you get to the shop. Marie let us store our bicycles in a shed beside the apartment which was great as we did not have to worry about them on the days that we were hiking. We had a fantastic time.

I could not fault Marie and Mike on anything!

Stopover in Kilarney

very nice separate appartment attached to the house of the owner. small but very clever arranged, all necessary utensils and even some food to start, very clean and quite place, very nice owners which really put some thought into what is needed for a stay in an appartment

the only little caviot is that there is no bakery close by to get rolls for breakfast, but thats a very minor point.

We loved everything about this apartment it has a lovely mountain view it is a beautiful one bedroom apartment and it is not to far from killarney it's self we will definitely stay here again Marie is a lovely lady to deal with and she is really helpful I would highly recommend staying in this apartment ❤️x
