Todo fue increíble

We liked the quality of the apartment itself. It felt solid and filtered out nearly all noise from neighbours. It felt secure, with an incredibly secure-looking door. The double-glazing filtered nearly all noise out, making a quiet sleep possible with the windows closed. The appartment felt spacious. The parquet flooring looked good. There was ample cupboard space, and steps for shorter people to reach all those cupboards. There was air-conditioning. The shower was excellent. And lastly, the host was extremely helpful in our check-in, and for any questions, and when we locked ourselves out.

The road noise outside: It's more than the noise of the "odd motorbike", it's really quite loud with the windows open, enough that we wish we'd booked somewhere else. (Those looking to book, I think your love of this flat will depend on how much you need the windows open and how much you mind some traffic noise in the background. If you can cope, it is a really good flat.) As an example of the loudness, I sat on the balcony overlooking the road with a portable USB speaker I'd brought playing music inside quite loud. Sitting outside a meter and a half away with the traffic I could not hear it properly. As a minor dislike, we could also have appreciated the addition of a coffee machine and of consumables such as washing-up liquid and kitchen roll.

No Tea Towels in kitchens to dry dishes

Overall space was good.

While the size of apartment is great, the interior is not well maintained (e.g. shower, back of bed, closet) and needs repairing to get back in good condition. In our case cleaning was not done correctly: leaving half empty water bottles around the sink of previous rental, bathroom not fully cleaned with hair in sink),dishes not put back in closet… Something went wrong in preparing the apartment for our arrival.
