H10 Metropolitan 4* Sup

The breakfast was €25 pp. Good choice of breakfast, both hot & cold options, with a good choice of drinks, to include Prosecco. The sweet treats were 10/10.

The only minor issue we had was the removal of cigarette ends from our outdoor space. The balcony above unfortunately felt the need to dispose of their cigarettes into our outdoor space. Other than that, it was perfect!

The layout of the hotel with multiple common areas and pools was excellent. The location was excellent. The staff were super friendly. We loved the cucumber water and welcome wine in the lobby.

Very comfortable bed, cleanliness and location.

No porter to greet you and take bags to room. The front desk recommended tourist restaurants which were terrible and overpriced. They offered to call and reserve a table which I believe they take a commission, even the taxi to the airport was overpriced versus what we paid when we arrived. We also found better restaurants just walking down the street, I would not recommend asking the front desk, not helpful at any stage!

Location is excellent and the hotel has a very pretty little terrace garden with a pool. The bar staff serving there are very nice and it is very relaxing.

This was our 4th stay in one year and we had already noted that the Reception staff sat behind their desks giving no welcome at all and stating immediately ‘Passports’. This time was the same but when I went to sit down in the seat facing the desk one Receptionist asked me to ‘sit over there for a few minutes as it is a shift change!’. And this after a long journey- it’s as if they were doing us a favour. What is more, although they only told us reluctantly at the end of the cold, uncaring check in process that WiFi was completely down in the hotel at that point, they did not seem to appreciate that this was a real problem for us. In fact there was no WiFi in the hotel the whole day we were there which was a real problem. I emailed them directly after I left asking, as a client who has spent 18 days in H10 hotels in the last year, if they would offer a reasonable good will refund for the lack of WiFi and had a reply the same day offering me 10 euros!! This from a 4 star hotel which charges quite a lot. This is not acceptable and we will not be back to H10 hotels. They need in this hotel a radical change in their customer service approach.
