How “Lady from Spain” got it’s name:
The owner of this property is a proud Spanish lady who came to Puerto Rico many years ago when she met and married her Puerto Rican husband. She raised her family here and made the island her home. And she has several works of art in the property that remind her of her native Spain, which is also the source of our national heritage. When we told her that we thought we might name the property Lady from Spain her face lit up with pride, she smiled and quietly said “Eso está bien.” “That’s good.”

• Flexible check-in any time after 3PM, and check-out by 10AM.
• Keys will be provided on-site. We will supply the lock box code before guest arrival, on day of checkin.
• A house book with local recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and grocery shopping is provided in the property.
Taxi from the airport to the property costs approximately $20
Our team is here to ensure you have a wonderful stay!
• Office Team: Available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM.
• Supervisor is on duty daily 9AM to 8PM, for any circumstances that require assistance.
• After 8PM our Night Service deals with any emergencies.
• On weekends our team monitors emails.

La Isla Verde is close to many attractions, in addition to beaches. Short ride to the Fort and Old San Juan. Day trip to the Rainforest. Many bars/restaurants and conveniences such as groceries and Walgreens are within walking distance. The property is safe and well kept, as is the apartment itself. Plenty room for 6 adults in our family. Balcony views are spectacular.

This was a fantastic location for our December stay in Puerto Rico. Close to old town but also quick/ way access to freeways and other locations on the island.
I also really appreciated the abundance food and grocery options within walking distance of the property.
Beach access was nice, although it the security measures to get in and out were a bit of a hassle. I get why they were in place, just found them a bit tedious.
The condo itself was plenty spacious for myself, my wife, our two adult children and a plus 1. We easily could have slept another 2-3 people in the unit. There was plenty of closet space for everyone’s needs as well.
There were plenty of amenities provided that were nice. I’m assuming many were purchased by past guests who didn’t want to bring beach gear home with them. If you happened to enjoy the boogie boards, those were our contribution.
We’re the type of travelers that don’t spend much time in our hotel/ condo, we’re generally out early, home late and don’t spend time lounging or cooking at our “home base.” This condo suited our travel style. I don’t know if i would have enjoyed it as much if I were spending a great deal of time there.
The kitchen is tiny. I’d hate to try to prepare a full meal in there.
We also dealt with a number of mechanical issues, a reflection of the overall age and condition of the property as a whole.
