The location of Tern House is perfect with an amazing outlook. Check in was simple and communication with the host was excellent. The house has been carefully thought through to make it homely with a great array of cook books and cooking equipment in an amazing kitchen dining space.

The house is beautiful, well equiped and well maintained. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

Good beds were comfortable. Enough space for our group of 3. Well heated.
The kitchen floor was sticky and in corners dirty. Generally the place could be better cleaned. Removal of all personal items of the owners would also be welcome e.g. books etc.
The local Inn is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. This should have been mentioned. The Michelin Star Restaurant was booked out a month in advance.
