The cottage provides the ideal place for relaxing and watching the ever changing vistas and is a super base for touring this mystical and historic island. The cottage is ideally located for visiting Neist Point (just 2-3 miles away) one of Skye's best attractions. Take a visit to Dunvegan Castle (the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland and seat of the Clan MacLeod) and a boat trip to see the seals basking on the rocks in Loch Dunvegan, followed by a visit to the Coral Beach at Claigan, Dunvegan. Other boat trips include a sea trip from Portree to see the varied sea and bird life including the sea eagles, glass-bottomed boat trips and a ferry trip from Uig to the Outer Isles of Lewis, Harris and Uist. No visit to the Isle of Skye is complete without a trip on the Bella Jane from Elgol to Scotland's most isolated Loch Coruisk.

The island boasts some wonderful restaurants, the world famous 'Three Chimneys' just a short drive from the cottage.
