Town: Claddach Vallay enjoys an exclusive setting on the North Coast of North Uist, overlooking Vallay Strand, Valley Island and the Hills of Harris. Around the bay to the east, you will find Malaclete with access to the stunning machair and beaches that are truly other-worldly. The Udal Peninsula is beyond belief. Beyond Malaclete is Sollas with all your daily essentials available from the Co-Op. Grenitote provides additional accessibility to the wonders of the Udal Peninsula. Lochmaddy is a car journey away and sits near the road to the magnificent Berneray which has so much to offer from incredible beach walks, sites of special scientific interest, a wonderful café and gift shop, and world-class views of Harris. In the opposite direction, the west coast offers arguably some of the most beautiful and iconic views in the Western Isles. St Kilda and The Monarch Isles appear on the horizon and are both accessible by boat on day trips. Hosta and Balranald are highlights of the west coast offering wonderful beach walks and awe-inspiring ocean views of the raw and majestic power of the mighty Atlantic Ocean.
