Incredible property. The sunset view from our cottage was beautiful, and sitting in the hot tub while taking it in was very special. The staff were excellent. Lovely big cottage, plenty of room and very quiet. The 3-course fine-dining meal was a lovely experience and featured beautiful food. I would definitely come back here for the experience.

Given the level of accommodation and the price, there are things I think could be improved. Our shower was clogged, and the tub filled and flooded twice; there was pink grime in the corner from not being cleaned properly. Our bathroom vanity was not in great condition, with peeling and an obvious previous leak that caused the wood to swell & break apart. For the accommodation's price point, the bathroom was disappointing and did not match the rest of the property. I would have expected that with a luxury accommodation, you would at least get a bath sheet rather than a standard little bath towel. Little things, and it did not take away from our enjoyment of the property; I just don't think the price point quite matches.

A perfect gem steeped in history!

Some guests coming in for a tasting menu in hoodies and gym clothes and one woman kept her hood up the entire meal. Just rather disrespectful

The property has quality fixtures and fittings and designer wallpaper etc.

The track from the main road requires extreme caution as it is very narrow and winding with crumbling edges, soft verges and ditch-lined. We witnessed a car with three young people which had fallen on one side into a ditch - we offered to get help, however, a local was already getting help. Also, the farm-like track up to the property was crumbling at the edges and required extreme caution.
