Just an amazing place to stay. I wish we could have stayed there another night. The hotel is very clean and the aesthetic is amazing. We enjoyed walking around the property and envisioning what it would have been like hundreds of years ago. It's not hard to imagine as the area feels historic and untouched. We especially enjoyed having a drink by the fire and then going off to bed. The bed was very comfortable. The next morning, we had a delicious breakfast, and the checkout process was seamless. I would love to come back.
The road out to this area is a single lane road that requires you to pull off in certain areas. Pretty much anywhere on Skye is going to be this way though. It is also very isolated which is part of the charm so plan ahead. You can eat at the hotel but if you want other food options you may be limited.

The breakfast was very tasty and great variety. The bedroom was pleasant and spacious.
I thought it was slightly overpriced considering it was far out of city limits.

The property has quality fixtures and fittings and designer wallpaper etc.
The track from the main road requires extreme caution as it is very narrow and winding with crumbling edges, soft verges and ditch-lined. We witnessed a car with three young people which had fallen on one side into a ditch - we offered to get help, however, a local was already getting help. Also, the farm-like track up to the property was crumbling at the edges and required extreme caution.
