Belle Escapes - Glenelg Shores Family Stay

Great location. Neat and clean property. Easy check in instructions.

One of the apartments was dimly lit. Quite a few light bulbs didn't work, and those too in the main living area. Otherwise A-OK!

Instructions were clear.

Great location

Location was good, close to trams, airport, restaurants and shopping. Kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery & glassware were very good. Provision of basic essentials including shampoo, conditioner and body wash, choices of tea & coffee, sauces, salt & pepper, cooking oil, glad wrap and baking paper, saved having to buy items that would maybe only be needed once.

The staff member at the Oaks on check in didnt have a clue about collection of the pass card for lift access to level 1. Clarification had to be sort from a supervisor and from the apartment booking manager(Rachel) The sofa bed was broken by previous guest so sleeping for one of us was not the best. Made do but I think the sofa bed needs to be replaced with a more comfortable and easily adjustable type if continuing to offer this extra sleeping arrangement. Apartments were not especially clean on arrival. Very noisy at night up to 1am due to downstairs parties in the Oaks hotel, especially given the apartments do's and dont's stipulate that parties and noise are not permitted.
