Belle Escapes - Wine Down at The Pier

Very easy instructions to follow to get into the apartment. Location is superb, unit has great outlook over beach and marina. Loved watching the planes coming in.

Balcony not very private, couch and chairs could be more comfortable, but ok.

The room was comfortable and the location was very central to shops, restaurants and the beach. with lovely walks in either direction. Transport to the city was great via the tram and easy via Uber when needed. It is also about 10 mins from the airport so easy to get to and affordable. The apartment was well kitted-out, especially the kitchen - so self - catering was easy when needed. There are three supermarkets within easy walking distance as well as other amenities. There is a good view of the beach even though it is a side apartment, and the balcony was lovely to sit on and watch the sun set. The bed was firm but comfortable and there is a small smart TV in the bedroom for comfortable viewing nights. Note that there was a very good hairdryer provided for anyone wishing to know. This was not listed and it would be helpful for future travelers to know so they don't need to bring one.

The check-in was from a lock box inside a storeroom nearby - the store-room door lock combination buttons were corroded and one crucial button was illegible. The agent responded quickly to a call despite being after hours and sent a photo with the numbers circled. I had to call for help due to the instructions not working after several attempts. The agent's service was good, responsive and helpful, however I'd suggest they review the lock-box information for greater clarity and include the photo in the check-in instructions. On the Saturday night there was a raging party in the hotel immediately opposite our room which went on till early morning. However, I would have to say that with the windows closed and black-out curtains closed it helped a lot with noise reduction.

The location was good close to restaurants. The check in and out easy.
