About this house rental
Relax and enjoy Lake-Life in this beautiful, well-appointed 4,300 sf vacation home with 85 ft of frontage on the sandy shores of Gun Lake. Gun Lake is the largest inland lake in SW MI suitable for all types of watercraft and great for fishing and all water sports. Our vacation home boasts 6 large bedrooms, 3 full baths, two kitchens and several large gathering areas for the whole group, with many options for smaller private spaces within the home for families traveling together. We have a private dock if you wish to bring/rent a boat along with a sandy beach bottom and shallow entry for young kids.
The main floor includes a full kitchen with island seating, adjoining sunroom with recliners for all, large great room with dining area and large table for 8, laundry room with washer & dryer, two full baths and 3 bedrooms consisting of 1 queen bed, 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. We also have a covered back porch leading to an expansive patio with outdoor table for 14. Our sunroom and covered porch look out onto the lake and are great places for morning coffee and fun conversations!
The upstairs has a full kitchen, full bathroom, a family room with game table, a step-up loft area with 3 double beds plus 3 more bedrooms consisting of 2 double beds, 1 king bed, and 1 double bed (this room has its own vanity sink).
On the lakeside patio, we have an outdoor table for 14, chairs for lounging outside along with a fire pit for nighttime smore's. On the front patio, we have a seating area and table for 8 which is perfect to enjoy basketball or pickle ball games. Our home includes beach towels, bathroom towels and bed linens. There is a gas grill and we have three paddle boards which are great fun for exploring the lake.
Enjoy lots of fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, bonfires and more! Spend your days relaxing on the patios or hiking the Yankee Springs trails. Vacation does not get any better than this!

It was so fantastic! Tim was always available. The home was clean with the amenities you could need. The shallow water was also perfect for the kids. Would love to go back!

The house is nicely set up for a large family gathering inside and out. The water in front of the house is sandy and very shallow. It was great for the grandchildren to play in the water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sunrise and Sunsets were gorgeous from our cozy (but roomy) outdoor fireside view.
We were fortunate the weather was excellent for outdoor sunning!!! Felt like we came right off the slopes.
We had a wide range of ages from 4 to 72 - Everyone had a place to relax and or play without overlapping. The beds were comfortable and the towels were generous. I usually take some of my own Kitchen utensils just in case. No need......EVERYTHING was there. The Kitchen view of the lake and the supersized kitchen island made everyday a treat for the cooks.......We have a few and no one was in anybody's way.
