Space, space, space, very clean, doesn't disappoint!

This house provides LOTs of space! Just as it says. Its bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. The kitchen has space to cook with multiple people; the dining room and living room seated all of us. There is also an extra fridge in the basement which we used as well as the laundry room. There was plenty of parking on the driveway. We always look to stay at homes that allow family togetherness as well as multiple bedrooms & bathrooms. The hosts are excellent and quick to respond! We stayed here with a larger group-11 adults and 5 children when our daughter got married. Our family loves to play games and the host provided board games in addition to the pool table, ping pong table and foos ball table in the home. The 2 bottles of wine for this special occasion that were setting on the counter when we arrived for our celebration in addition to the board games were a special touch as the hosts made an extra effort to welcome us. The outdoor cement patio has a gas fire-pit and seating area that we thoroughly enjoyed as well. There are also some nice attractions such as Millennium Park - a 10 minute drive - that provided a park, sandy beach with lake and a Splash pad.Unfortunately during our stay we had some uninvited guests - mice that arrived in our kitchen- on 2 of the 7 nights that the hosts mitigated quickly, explaining that unfortunately the neighbors have excess trash. Overall , I would highly recommend if u r looking for a place with space!

The house was perfect for our golf trip. Comfortable accommodations for our group of nine. All the couch seating was great for our group to watch World Cup soccer at the house. Would easily stay here again!

This is a great place to stay if you have a large group. Having 6 bedrooms allowed for enough privacy and the living and dining room were spacious enough for everyone to gather together. My favorite room was the screened in porch.

Pros: Wendy is a wonderful, kind communicator and host. There was lots of room for our group of 20 - the home is deceiving large. Very spacious! There is absolutely room to spread out. There was a case of beer waiting for us in the fridge - which was generous. I appreciated Wendy’s quick responses to questions. She is great! Cons: the home is more run down than we had imagined. Bed frames are squeaky and small. Most men in our family were taller than the double beds. The bathroom door on the main floor is exceptionally hard to close and in desperate need of repair. Great force needed to be applied in order to shut it. (My elderly in-laws were unable to). Two of the showers are VERY small, which is hard to see in pictures. The basement bathroom must have a leak, as the floor was constantly wet. Windowsills in a basement bedroom were dusty and had dead bugs. The couch in the 3 seasons porch is uncomfortable with extremely thin cushions. I would not hesitate to stay in a different rental of Wendy’s, but I don’t think that this one will work for our future needs.
