About this house rental
Plenty of room for families, reunions, and retreats! 350’ of lakefront on private Sweet Lake. Nestled in the woods for the ultimate private vacation! Feel the stress melt away as you come down our long, tree lined driveway and start to immerse yourself in nature. We have a fully equipped kitchen, linens, WiFi, and some games/movies. At the lakefront, you have a dock, firepit, kayaks, paddle board, and a pontoon is available for a separate rental fee. Hot tub is available October-April. Memorial Day to Labor day 5 night minimum. Pontoon is available for rent May-October. Includes gas, lesson, and life jackets. Timber Ridge and Bittersweet Ski Resorts are both about 15 minutes away. Close to snowmobile trails. 30 minutes from Lake Michigan.

This was our first time in Michigan, and when we went looking for a house online, we all had a list of everything we wanted/needed.
This house had everything we needed and more!
We stayed there with two other families, 6 adults and 7 kids total and we never felt cramped or over crowded.
The house was fully stocked with everything you'd need (honestly we didn't even need to buy or bring several of the items we brought). There were plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone and enough towels to last us all the full 5 days.
The sand beach area was perfect for our kids (ages 3 to 8) and the water was shallow enough to where they could all walk out pretty far without going more than waist deep and because it's a smaller lake, the water was warm and felt great. All the beach toys and chairs were supplied by the hosts and the kids were also able to catch a bunch of fish off the dock or even out on the boat.
We had a fire 3 of the 5 nights which was wonderful as the firepit is setup right next to the lake. The house is so secluded that you feel like you're the only people out there most days and because of all the trees the yard is provided with a ton of shade.
Our absolute favorite part was the screened in porch on the side of the house! We spent almost every morning out there with our coffee and every night out there, especially after the kids went to bed. It was the perfect spot to hang out while inside.
10/10 would definitely recommend this house!
