This comfortably furnished 112m² apartment is in a quiet residential area in Ponta Delgada, the capital of the largest island of the Azores, Sao Miguel, providing an ideal starting point for exploring and enjoying the long beaches and romantic bays on the sunny island.
The owner lives locally and is happy to assist with any queries. If you arrive by car, you can always find a free parking space right in front of the house.
The apartment is on the first floor of a four-storey apartment building from the year 2003. The bathroom, kitchen and living room was renovated in 2015 and provide all the necessary modern conveniences for a comfortable stay. A light living and dining room awaits you, along with a separate, fully-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room provides a comfortable sofa, a wooden coffee table, a TV with cable channels and a wooden dining table with eight chairs. The separate kitchen next to it has a dishwasher, a four-zone electric stove, an oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is a little storage room next to the kitchen with a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. Three of the four bedrooms each have a double bed measuring 140 x 190cm, while the fourth has a pull-out bed that provides two single beds measuring 80 x 180cm for two children. One of the bathrooms has a bath with a shower attachment and the other has a shower cubicle, and both have a washbasin with a cupboard underneath, a wall mirror and a toilet. The larger bathroom also provides a bidet and a hairdryer. Children and adults alike will enjoy the Wii games console and families with babies can be provided with a complete set of accessories (please indicate this on your booking if required), including a cot and highchair. Plenty of hand and beach towels and bed linen are provided and you can use the reliable wireless Internet connection in the apartment free of charge.
Your holiday apartment is only about 100 metres from the nearest cafés and restaurants, with shops about 800 metres away. It is about 1.6km to the centre of the little town of Ponta Delgada with its historical sights, colourful markets and good gastronomy. It is about 1km to the sea with crystal clear water and 6km to the nearest beach (Sao Roque). It is about 2.2km to a natural swimming pool, which you can use free of charge.
