About this apartment rental
A privileged apartment overlooking a garden en the heart of Madrid.Public and low cost parkingThe location really can't be beaten. It's within walking distance to so much: the Royal Palace, the Prado and the Sofia Reina museums, as well as to the Plaza Mayor and parks. There's also a metro stop just outside the building that makes the whole city accessible. High speed Internet 300 MSPACE:The beds are very comfortable. It's on a busy street (downtown) but located in the back of the building, so there is no street noise and it is nice and quiet. The balcony shows a rooftop garden, and while you can't go out there, it's a nice space to look at and let the fresh air in. Each bedroom has its own courtyard, so opening the door, you can enjoy the fresh air with total silence.
The apartment is divided in a living room, with coach and tv, a dining room. It also has 2 bedrooms.The main one has a queen size double bed, and a desk with an intranet plus for you to check your mails quietly.
The second with two single beds (which can be put in together to make a double bed upon request) and two 2m bunk beds. So till 4 persons in this bedroom.
In the living room, you have a "bed closet". MEaning a true xl bed (1.6m x 2m). With a top comfort mattress. So the living room turns into a bedroom at night. Close by a sliding door, you have total privacy.
Everybody access the two bathrooms from the corridor.
It's a very warm and cozy space ideal for any kind of stay.
A self service laundry called "colada express" is 60m nearby, where you can wash and dry several loads at one time, finishing your laundry in a fraction of time.AREA:Subway (you won't need it):Antón Martin: 10m

You must request the card to park. Please let me know in advance to have it ready for you. There is no specific parking lot asigned to you. That means that it can happen that there is no free space (upon availability).

This is how I would describe in a few words the Cortes Letras neighbourhood (see all short descriptions for all neighbourhoods of Madrid in my post on how to choose the neighbourhood made for you) Right in the center, History (cobbled streets, monuments), bohemian, art, Tapas Bars (the huertas street is one of the most famous in Madrid for bars). Cortes is a traditional neighbourhood, right in the center of Madrid, with nearly only nice cobbled streets, full of tapas, restaurants and bars. The Cortes Letras neighbourhood lies just West of the Retiro park (main green space of Madrid), South of Gran Via Life in the Cortes Letras neighbourhood is traditional Madrid style tapas with friends, then meeting with more friends in another bar, enjoying the fact of being close to everything to make the most out of all that Madrid center has to offer. I really recommend this neighbourhood to anyone who wants to enjoy Madrid, be right in the middle of things, but still in an authentic neighbourhood, with many bars, restaurants..

We really liked this apartment a lot!
It is between the Retiro Park and the area around Plaza Mayor. Both are about a 10-15 minute walk.
There is subway stop about 50 steps from the apartment!
There are several hotels and hostels right across the street, a grocery store nearly next door and lots of restaurants around.
Overall, a great spot!

We stayed in Frederic and Marinas wonderful apartment 3 days in end of may. Was an absolute pleasure. The location is fantastic. U are close to where U wanna be in Madrid. Most are within walking distance. The apartment itself is real nicely and functional furnished and good for up to 8 people. We stayed 4 in there which was a big luxury. Upon arrival u notice how pleasant everything is made for U to feel welcome. Bottled water in the fridge and coffee ready to be made. Even a nice bottle of wine is put in the cooler to enjoy on arrival. Very nice gesture. The apartment is absolutely as clean as it comes. Two toilets and well function showers that doesn't run out of hot water. Even shampoo and soap is provided. All in all i can recommend this place to all who wants to enjoy the very best of wonderful Madrid. Its a real bargin staying this nice and this central. So - thank u Frederic
