Anevalousa Beach House

Everything was exceptional! The traditional house, the vintage door keys, the lovely unspoilt Cycladic terrain, the sound of waves and wonderful beaches… We had access to the veggie garden, as well as barbecue facilities. The whole family of hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The epitome of Greek hospitality.

Emplacement exceptionnel, vu magnifique et au calme. Maison sobre mais avec tout le nécessaire.

Rien, c'était comme prévu.

This has to be the best location we've ever stayed in - peaceful, private, 30 seconds to the glorious sea. Regular visits from the Stone (Beech) Marten each evening were a treat. The fridge provisioned with salads, fruit, bread, water etc for our arrival was wonderful - thank you Manolis! The village shop sells everything you'll ever need and is open until 9 each evening.

A chopping board and large sharp knife would have been useful - this place is so lovely that we stayed put some days and ate in, so prepared food.

This is an exceptional location for people who want peace, quiet and tranquility. Pros: lovely well-equipped little house with fenced garden; beautiful area; next to a stony beach and a small sandy beach within close walking distance. Possible cons for some: could be considered a little isolated – accessed by a three kilometre dirt road from Moutsouna; the route to the toilet from the twin bedroom is through the double bedroom - fine for families but may be an issue with friends; Moutsouna is a small hamlet with lovely tavernas, but just one tiny (albeit very good) minimarket; Apeiranthos, the nearest village with significant amenities, is not too far away, but the drive back and forth from Moutsouna is not for the faint-hearted.
