Charming 18th Century 4 bedroom cottage - Pass the Keys

Location was we good apart from the garden being away from the property. As it was extremely hot we wanted to sit and outside and the garden was very overlooked.

The rooms at the front had a lot of road noise as it was so hot the windows had to be open and the road is very busy. The top room had no blind on the velux window so was very light at the time. There could have been more toilet paper and we coudn' find the ironing board.

Proximity to places of interest. Is generally clean but could be better

The wear and tear weren’t fixed. Examples 1)wc cover on top for was shaky 2) moulds on shower cubicle walls are not clean. 3) mattresses and pillows are extremely soft. Ended up with a backache.4)velux window’s blinds are faulty, can’t pull down and we were unable to sleep well because of bright sunlight came through early in the morning like 5am. 5)on top floor- towels and pillows were piled at the corner- quite untidy.

Lovely location in a little hamlet. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Four double bedrooms, so good for groups.

Only one bathroom and one ensuite with no downstairs toilet which made it difficult for a group of eight.

quaint pretty area, good pub up the road. spacious Small discount for not full shower facilities We had a good time and it could have been good if attention to detail- not hard things to fix.

Day before told only one shower working and it was the ensuite so guests had to walk through bedroom for a shower. only hand soap no shower soap. Arrived to overflowing bins, were told it would be dealt with but it wasn’t. Kitchen dirty, nothing had been washed properly. only 2 dishwash tabs so had to buy more to even get clean dishes. don’t get me started on the baking dishes. Only 6 wine glasses and 2 rolls loo paper for 7 for 3 days. Dishwash liquid empty. Horrible smell in kitchen. Only enough seats in living room for 5 people. master bed pushed under eves had to crawl over other person. Very dirty rug on floor. Another room was sort of a cupboard and blind broken so no natural light. The road was so busy at night, very noisy and dangerous. no parking Disappointed in booking.com
