Beautiful location, great price basic accomodation.

the location was amazing with a beautiful view from every room, there was a restaurant on the premises as a bonus if you don't want to cook...( we didn't eat there) we cooked ourselves in the apartment, there was an oven & a good sized fridge. the host Alex was very friendly & helpful he pointed out great sight seeing destinations on the map provided.

The double bed was way too hard not comfy. there was no kettle or toaster. the apartment was very basic not homely and the lay out was a bit odd as there was only 1 aircon which was in the main bedroom so we couldn't sit in the lounge room to watch the only TV that was provided as it was way too hot ( summertime).

Location was good

Very hard bed, that hard we didn't sleep. The leaflet in the property said luxury apartment with air con, no air con and wouldn't class it as luxury. No balcony as advertised on the photos. Extremely noisy neighbours, banging doors and could even hear them using the toilet,banging seat and peeing. Alot of road noise, all night and day Small apartment.

Superb

The location ensured a very nice view of the mountains, the kitchen and the rooms were clean and well-equipped so we could cook our food there. The staff was very helpful and check-in was very easy.

Make sure to rent a car if you don’t want to struggle your way through the Italian public transport. The accommodation is a bit far from Lecco, took us some time to figure out how to get there. Still the view was worth the hikes. :)

Very good

I enjoyed my stay at Le Casette di Osvaldo. The self check in was straightforward. The apartment was clean and tidy. It had everything I needed for a short stay. The bathroom was spacious. It has a balcony. You can have tea or coffee on in the morning. Mine was next to the road, so it could be a little noisy, but it didn't bother me. There is a restaurant on site which is well priced and also very handy if you arrive early evening and are hungry, though it's closed on Wednesdays. The restaurant staff are very welcoming, I do not speak much Italian, and they helped me choose what to order. I went back the next night and had a pizza for a bargain five euros. Overall I recommend both the apartments and the restaurant.

Now, this isn't me moaning about the apartments location. More I didn't look into where it was situated beforehand, so it's on me. But if you stay here, you need wheels of some description. Be it a car or moped cycle. As there are no footpaths on the mountain roads and it could be very dangerous to walk to the nearest bus stop. I ended up getting taxis, and it was an expensive way of getting to Lecco and back. The apartment it's self could do with a better ironing board to go with the iron and a mat for the floor in the bathroom. Also, something on the shower floor to prevent any slips in the shower would be a good idea. And one more thing, more comfortable pillows.

Terrible, false advertisement, never again. see picture of cars swerving to avoid me on my approach

nothing - it was like a shoe box and on a dangerous road - I was almost hit by a car twice trying to enter and the leave. I stayed 1 night out of the 4 I booked. the host was rude and would not accommodate a refund. shocking experience I would never ever stay here again - unless you have a car it is lethal.

Very good

It was in the mountain. Beautiful views. Check in very smooth. Small apartment clean. Lovely restaurant downstairs with beautiful food and wonderful staff. Plenty of car parking. Next town 2kms Ballabio beautiful find. Value for money and great location. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

A disappointment.

The apartment is located above a very busy and popular restaurant. Every evening there was a lot of noise and bustle, it was hard to get any sleep before midnight. There even was a party with dj and very loud music until 2 am the last evening we were there. We wrote the woman of the apartment about it but didn’t get any reply or reaction from her. There is a little terrace but no light for when it gets dark. The kitchen is poorly equipped (no coffee machine, just a small coffee brewer to make 1 cup on the gas stove, we are a family of 3, it takes 15 min to brew a cup of coffee for everyone), there is hardly any kitchenware and no space to put anything, we found a wine opener but no wine glasses, there is no dishwasher which is okay but also no clean sponge to do the dishes, so we had to buy one. There was 1 little bin but no extra bags so we had to buy those as well (we booked for a week). There was no hot water in the shower in the evening and the double bed was very hard, it felt like sleeping on a wooden board. The electric sockets are Italian so be sure to bring an adapter, because there was only one in the apartment. The location is okay if you have a car but the apartment itself is not a place you can chill at (there is a small couch in one of the bedrooms but hardly any space to move there).

good for value

The 2 bedroom apartment was exactly like in pictures. The view from the balcony was super. The fresh mountain air in the morning together with birds sound splendid. Separate and big kitchen where you can find all you need. Fee parking on site. Very nice and helpful host.

On the ground floor of the building is a restaurant and an event salon. So every single evening started at 7pm till 11.00pm or 12.30 in the night on Saturday hundreds of people and children are there making a lot of noise, loud music - a totally chaos

Disappointed 😞 need renovation dust outside the building needs cleaning 😪 kitchen falling apart and bed not compatible only linen and towels is good....can't even walk on the road so dangerous.

Good

The room was tidy, everything you need to cook yourself was enough. There was a hairdryer, a teapot, even shower gel. The host is nice. Liked the price-quality ratio.

Didn't like the location. 6 km from the train station, unfortunately we had to walk to the bus stop about 1 km every day, i.e. 15 minutes There were several buses, but walking next to cars was the most unpleasant, especially in the rain. It is convenient to have a rental car in such a place. I didn't like that the owners told us to leave the room tidy, to wash the dishes, and take the garbage out, it was the first time such a request was made for temporary rent.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartments - they were very cozy, clean, we found everything that needed for our 1 week holidays. Also, the location is very good - near Lecco city center and near a lot of roads to go hiking to the mountains. The price and quality was excelent! Highly recommend!

Good base for a short quiet stay near Lake Como

The hosts were very friendly and helpful in collecting me from the station and telling me a lot about things to do in and around Lecco. The surrounding landscape was gorgeous too and there was a small patio area with a mountain view. There is also a nice restaurant next door where you can get a discount (though pizza is 5€ anyway).

The place was a little smaller and darker than I expected but it did have everything it needed for a few days. The bus into town was a bit unreliable (as was Google with the bus times) and it would have been too far to walk, but no major problems.

We spent a wonderfull week in Casette di Osvaldo and we were really pleased: 1) calm place (although there is a restaurant downstairs, we were not disturbed at all) 2) perfect base-camp for trips to Bellagio, Como, Varenna, Milano and surrounding moutains 3) the apartement fully equipped with all you needed, everything clean 4) Price-performance ratio - if there was a possibility to rate with more than 10 points, then it would be at least 15 :-) 5) I had a little problem with my cell-phone, but the hostess had a great deal of patience, so we managed the arrival well

An awful experience in a room that had not been thoroughly cleaned in between guests.

The bed was rock solid and had big dips in the middle, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. There was no mountain views, but instead the room is right on the main road, so it was very noisy at all hours. The cleaning had not been done thoroughly as I found an old sock and some plastic trash just under the head of the bed.

Comodo appartamento appena fuori città

Abbiamo scelto l'appartamento betulla che, nonostante gli spazi ridotti è stato molto comodo essendo gli spazi sfruttati molto bene. Completo di tutto il necessario e con spazi adatti a due persone. Molto spazio per il parcheggio. La posizione, appena fuori la città consente di muoversi facilmente sia verso Lecco che verso Ballabio da cui si raggiunge facilmente e rapidamente Pian dei Resinelli e il parco Valentino dove si trova la passerella panoramica.

L'appartamento betulla si trova sopra le scale e la sera si sente quella che credo essere la cappa del ristorante-pizzeria sottostante. Non è un grande disagio ma è presente. Ad ogni modo niente di insopportabile. Il ristorante chiude comunque entro mezzanotte.

Tranquillo, silenzioso, il letto e comodo. Terrazza dove si può fare colazione o la cena.

Lontananza dal centro. Senza auto tu dipendi dagli orari dei autobus. L'aria condizionata è un ventilatore in realtà. Almeno nella mia stanza singola.

Het uitzicht was mooi en de airco was fijn

Wij waren sterk afhankelijk van het openbaar vervoer. Er reden hier een paar bussen maar niet vaak genoeg om flexibel te blijven met komen en gaan. Wij zaten dus een soort “vast” in het appartement en konden nergens verder heen dan het stadje Lecco. Als je hierheen gaan ga dan met de auto. In het appartement staken stukken laminaat uit de grond, en op het balkon was een tegel gebroken die leek of hij elk moment naar beneden kon vallen. De temperatuur van de douche leek ook een eigen wil te hebben en het bed was niet heel comfortabel. Al met al kan het appartement wel wat renovatie gebruiken.

Położenie w pięknych Alpach , trochę dalej od centrum, ale widoki wszystko wynagradzają , piękny widok na góry i Lecco , bardzo dobrze wyposażony przestronny apartament z dwoma wyjściami na duży balkon , wszystko jest- suszarka , deska do prasowania , żelazko, piekarnik , niczego nie brakowało :)

De locatie was prachtig. Het uitzicht echt heel erg mooi. Het appartement was ruim en erg schoon. Het inchecken ging super makkelijk.

Je zit naast een weg die populair is voor debielen op motoren die niet weten wat opschakelen is. Je zit dus regelmatig naar knetterhard geluid van een motor te luisteren wat je rust niet bevorderd.

Нам очень понравилось то что владелец даже нас подвез самолично объяснила условия проживания владелец просто класс жильё тоже хорошее автобусной остановки не были так уж и далеко остались чувством итальянского стиля приятно было чтоб были баночки всякие масла для тела и так далее
