I like the view and how clean the room was. The breakfast was also very tasty and cheap. I made new friends who I met in the hostel, the staff were friendly. I think it is good standard for the hostel.

I specifically requested a bottom bunk, and my request was confirmed. However, when I arrived, the staff told me I had been "upgraded" to a room with a private bathroom. In reality, I believe this was simply to fill the last available bed in that room, and I no longer had the bottom bunk I had requested. When I asked if I could be moved back to my original booking, I was told that it wasn't possible. I also found the bed very hard and uncomfortable. Since it was my first time staying in a hostel, I wasn't used to this type of accommodation and couldn't sleep at all. It wasn't only because of the bed, one of my roommates kept insisting the room was too cold, even though Positano was extremely hot at the time, which made it difficult for everyone to be comfortable because the AC was turned off and the room was super warm. If you're someone who is used to staying in comfortable hotels, this hostel may not be the best choice. However, if you enjoy hostel style accommodation, then this is still a good option overall.

Steep climb to the beach and back. Didn’t have laundry or kitchen facilities.

It was extremely clean, cozy, and I felt safe the entire time. Wonderful location with a beautiful balcony view!

No complaints. I only wish the balcony was open all night.
