Casa Teresa

Enzo, the owner was very friendly and contacting him via WhatsApp beforehand was super easy and really helpful. He gave us useful tips for our arrival and shared helpful information when we got there. The hospitality was excellent and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. A big recommendation!

View was spectacular but a steep walk to get up there. A little chalky to find the place as Google Maps don’t work well in Positano. Bed super comfy. Quiet at night.

Clean property, with two great restaurants nearby. Host was very helpful with suggestions. Nice location about 15 minute walk from ferry. The property is dated but everything is in great condition. Only issue I had was with the mattress, as it was very hard. It needs to be replaced or a gel-foam topper would work.

Our stay at Casa Teresa was wonderful and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Positano. Just know that if you’re expecting a large luxury hotel, this isn’t that or for you. Casa Teresa is a small, family-owned property with only 8 rooms, so it feels much more like a charming bed and breakfast or even like staying in your grandparent’s home. It has a warm, personal atmosphere that made us feel very welcome. From the moment we let them know we were arriving, they were incredibly helpful. They recommended paying for porter service for our luggage, which was excellent advice since navigating Positano’s steep hills and endless stairs with suitcases would have been a challenge. Manu, the owner’s daughter, checked us in and was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us several restaurant recommendations, and every one we tried was fantastic. The location worked out perfectly for us. It’s just off via fornillo, close to plenty of restaurants, shops and bus stop. No matter where you stay in Positano, you’ll be walking a lot. Our room was spacious, had a lovely balcony and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cold, which was much appreciated after long days exploring. The grounds were beautifully maintained. We had a great experience. The genuine hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and excellent location made for a memorable stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a cozy, authentic place to stay in Positano.
