Location was perfect a short walk to everything resteraunts shops beach
Building is a bit outdated but all the hotels in Positano are the same so no complaints. Water is not provided you have to pay for bottles from the mini fridge in the lobby which is the first time I’ve experienced water not being provided for free.

The room was very clean, and although we didn’t have ocean view, we still had city view and a little balcony where we could see some ocean. The location is not in the central area of Positano but in Fornillo, a very nice and quiet area, 20 mins walk to the busy center. The owners are very nice and helpful, the staff was supper nice every time we encounter them. We walked everywhere, everything is very close, and there are good restaurants around. The views are to die for. The Fornillo beach is literally down there BUT, the stairs are not for the faint of heart (you’ll need good knees) don’t forget your water shoes!

The view
The towels were as rough as sandpaper. There was no breakfast. The room was small. The bed was hard.
