Beautiful view and loved our own private balcony. Updated bathroom with great shower. Cozy and quaint setting. Quiet rooms. Friendly staff.
Only real complaint was all the stairs from the port/ beach to get to the hotel (like over 500) and then to get to other restaurants, shops, beaches. This is really more of just the town of Positano……. However the directions specifically emailed to us from hotel included a path with more steps and narrow dark walk ways then what the staff shared to us in the last day of a better way to go. So give your guests the “better” directions (then it might be only like 400 stairs).

Meeting the owner Carlo was lovely, it was more personable that all other accommodation in Italy. Carlo was very helpful giving us milk when we needed it, information about tourist activities.

Loved the quirky room and bathroom (tho the shower was small and had a curtain that stuck to the body when showering!). Bed was very comfortable. Terrace was amazing. Beautiful views. I was disappointed our room didn’t adjoin the terrace and other rooms had direct access to their individual terraces. So, if booking be sure to book room with terrace adjoining.
I love swimming but had to descend 404 steps to go down to the beach, so a certain level of fitness is required!!
Amazing breakfast room with good breakfast. Need to do better cereals tho . Only ‘cardboard’ like “cornflakes” available, otherwise everything was good.
That we didn’t have direct access to the terrace from our room.
Room was quite small and bathroom shower had a curtain and not a screen/door.

The towels were as rough as sandpaper. There was no breakfast. The room was small. The bed was hard.
